Topsy and Tim : Meet Father Christmas

Beautiful book .

We have quite a few books of this collection and love them. This one however is going back as it is very inappropriate in 2022. Santa has two sacks of toys, one for GIRLS (pink sunglasses) and one for boys (trumpets). This is definitely not the message I want my daughter to grow up with. It needs updating!

My 2 year old granddaughter loves Topsy and Tim and this seasonal one is a perfect addition to our collection.

Ottima storyline a tema natalizio..la serie Topsy and Tim è molto britannica ma a noi questo non dispiace. Comodo anche il formato piatto per trasportarlo fuori casa.

Brilliant story even after reading it every since it arrived! Luckily local garden centre has very similar set up for grotto as in the book or that might have been a problem!?!? 2and a half year old can now "read" it from memory.

I cannot wait to give this to my 4 year old granddaughter. It is brilliantly illustrated and the text is just right for her, preferably read with embellishment. The build up to meeting Father Christmas is superb and the puzzle at the end appropriate. Explaining Christmas and it's significance, I try, but the excitement and prospect of presents take precedence. Maybe in time. Excellent paperback.
