Though I didn't get into Pokemon until this year (2023), I've loved Pikachu since my college days (circa 2000). I recently got FireRed, and hunted in-game like crazy until I could catch a Pikachu, and I wanted to reflect that by getting this figure. He's very small, and so darned cute!

Adorable
Stands a little higher than 1.5 in. I was surprised that the tail was flimsy instead of firm, but it's not a bad thing (it's not bent or anything). I bought it as a desk accessory, so I don't know how durable it is, but it looks great.

This will make a nice cake topper....but it’s a little smaller than I thought.

Very Small
I was excited to use this as a topper for a birthday cake but after opening the package I noticed that the small size of the product would not allow for that. Good it you are collecting very small action figures.

Does it bring me joy? You betcha
This little guy is so cute. It fits in nicely on my desk with my other figurines. Is it worth $6 for an adult to have a child's figurine? Probably not. Does it bring me joy? Hell yeah! I like that is has some weight to it and doesn't feel cheaply made. Looking into getting other ones now.
