What is the voltage measurement range?

The allsun EM555 can accurately measure pulse voltages from 300V up to 9.9kV (9900 volts), covering the output of most standard agricultural electric fence energizers.

How does the "Smart Power" feature save battery?

The Smart Power technology means the tester automatically wakes up when it detects a pulse and shuts down after about 4 seconds of inactivity. This prevents battery drain if you forget to turn it off.

The display reads 5.5. What does that mean?

A reading of 5.5 means your fence voltage is 5.5 kilovolts (kV), or 5,500 volts. For the most stable reading, we recommend noting the value after the tester has detected three consecutive pulses.

Is it safe to use this tester?

Yes. Safety features include a finger guard and an insulated probe. Always drive the probe into moist soil for a proper ground and wear rubber-soled shoes during use for added safety.
