I'm having fun taking selfies with my son! This is a really clever design and the app has different options for video and photos. I'm taking this self-timer robot to a party this weekend! My friends LOVE taking selfies, so this will be a new toy to play with! LOLI'm really pleased with the app and learning the different settings. The app designers put a lot of thought into the features.Please note: I ordered the white color, not pink (same company) and when I logged on to review the white one, the link was not there. I saw this pink one and it looks identical except for the color, so I'm leaving my review here. I did receive a tripod with my order, and not sure if this pink one comes with one or not. There may be different items/versions of this product. I see that you CAN use a remote control with this item too according to the box it came in, and the app screen has two choices (with or without a remote). Mine did not have the remote. There may be various colors and some items that come with and some without extra accessories.Pros:1) The app is really user friendly and easy to figure out. I downloaded it from the app store and used it with my iPhone 5S.2) My phone fits into the "Robot" horizontally or vertically.3) It paired easily with my iPhone 5S with Bluetooth setting ON (first, make sure the App is open before you pair it)4) You can take a selfie with one person, two people in couple mode, or 3+ people5) You may adjust the number of seconds for the countdown.6) If you MOVE your head in face-tracking, the countdown will start over, so it makes sure you'll have a clear photo, not blurry from people moving their heads around! LOL (This is a common problem, especially in a group. There's always someone who has a hard time keeping still and posing!) haha7) NO MORE problems of having arms that are too short to hold the camera out. (I know a selfie stick can work to avoid this problem, but you still see your arm much of the time and it's usually pretty obvious it's a selfie stick photo).8) The robot unit fits on a tripod (full tripod or a table top tripod)9) The base rotates 360 degrees, which is really impressive!10) Can take pics 10 meters away (which is 32.8 feet distance) I can't even imagine my phone taking a decent pic that far away, but if I wanted to go that far out, it's possible.11) With up to 10 seconds of delay, you can take enough time to set it up, and get into position. I have an old Nikon camera and have to do the mad dash to run across the room! hahaha12) Charges by USB cable (provided) and will work for 4 hours on a charge according to specs! That's a long time taking pics!SPECS:Supports cell phones for Apple IOS 7.0 and Above, Android 4.3 System and aboveCons:Works great! No trouble with it so far. I think if you want a tripod and remote control, you MAY find it to be lacking. You can check into getting those items separately if the model you buy doesn't come with these items. You don't need them to use the selfie robot though. The base can sit on a table, counter, ledge, or whatever flat surface is available.Note: I had to take my phone out of the thick protective case I use. I have a hard case and a rubbery cover over that, so it's quite durable. I'm sure that most people with normal thin phone cases won't have to remove the case to fit it in the holder.Overall, this is a clever design and it's sure to enhance your photos. It's always more fun to take family photos, group pics with friends, couple photos and normal selfies the RIGHT way, without your arm extended awkwardly, or a stick jutting out while you attempt to get the right angle. I'm really impressed with the design AND the app. I've used some Bluetooth items where the App is so poorly designed it takes away from the functionality of the item you're trying to use. This App works perfectly to control the camera.I was very happy to receive this Self-timer Robot at no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I'll post a video and pics!
