Light backing for fine machine embroidery.
I love this for the backing to machine embroidery designs. It's lightweight but strong enough to support embroidery being put on light weight cardigan sweaters. Doesn't bunch up. It comes on a roll for less weight.

Works ok would rather cut away
I had to double up layers of this at times most of the time. It works fine but I either had to use several layers or use tear away as well. I liked the softness but had to layer most the time.

Works Great
This stabilizer works great. I have used several different types of stabilizers but this works excellent for all types of golf shirts. The trick is to use temporary fabric adhesive to hold it to your fabric.

It's OK
It's ok. I wish the title and/or description were more helpful with the information provided. I ordered this to fill a big order, and didn't know until it arrived and I opened it that it wasn't iron on. I swore off spray adhesive years ago so I was very disappointed to find this. I now see that this was addressed in the reviews, however as a busy business owner I do not have time to comb through reviews before ordering inventory. I definitely will not purchase this product in the future.

the "no-show" stabilizer I have been looking for!
The texture is soft to the touch, strong enough to use as a stabilizer on thin materials and invisible to the eye when worn. I'd recommend this for any items that need a more sturdy stabilizer, but you are worried about it showing through to the front.

I was getting very frustrated trying to embroider t shirts from my local big chain fabric store (and getting very poor results), so I searched on Amazon for a solution and found this product. It just came today, and I layered two pieces behind my t shirt in the embroidery hoop and it worked perfectly! I will definitely be buying more of this!

Worked like it should but I prefer the iron on kind
I tried this product and the kind you iron on (by the same seller). The iron on kind worked much better on knits for machine applique. The products with the iron on held up better overtime. The non-iron stabilizer seems to tickle my kids because it isn't always flush with the fabric.
