Autoglym Ultra High Definition Wax 120gr

In short, let me just put it here at the start that Autoglym Ultra HD Wax is the best wax I have EVER used in my 30 years + of car ownership. I'm happy spending hours foaming, washing, polishing and waxing my car to keep it looking nice and find it therapeutic - but I want an easy life, I don't want swirls, haze, residue, smears, and wax that's a pain in the ass to remove. I'd read so many reviews before I settled on two products from Autoglym - their Super Resin Polish and the UHD Wax. After a Snow Foam, Rinse, Shampoo Wash, Rinse and Dry, I used the Resin Polish first to remove a few little imperfections, that in itself was a joy to use, easy on .. easy off and left the paintwork already looking glossy and shiny (just don't get any of that on non-painted plastic trim). I followed that with the ultra HD wax (which smells wonderful, like some expensive coconut moisturiser!), it went on easy with the soft applicator pad provided (make sure you dampen the pad first, I used a little water in a misting spray and a gentle dab and quarter twist in the product is enough), applied all over the car, then after I'd finished, went back to the point i started and it'd already cured and just buffed off with ease with the red finishing microfibre cloth provided, so easy. The shine I am left with (Navarra Blue) is just fantastic. The metallic flakes in the paint just pop in the sunlight and not a streak/smear in sight. Yes it's expensive for a wax, but you use so little, it will last years, even using it on the other cars in the household. You really only need to use it sparingly too, more is not better (more you apply ,the more product is wasted and it makes it harder to buff off), even a minimal application gives fantastic results. The applicator and cloth provided are perfect too. A week on from the polish/wax, little dust has gathered on the surface, but just rinsed that off with a hosepipe, all ran off, beaded away, leaving that fantastic shine again. Ive been converted back to Autoglym again after many years away and have also now bought their Glass Cleaner, Detailer Spray and Tyre Dressing Spray. (A little bird poop came off easily, little spray of the detailer, wiped clean off, no damage to the paint, perfect shine still).

Je suis assez déçu de ce produit, surtout de son rapport qualité/quantité/prix. Certes le packaging est soigné et complet avec l'applicateur et la microfibre, la cire est facile à appliquer et le résultat est bon (comparable à une cire carnauba classique selon moi). Mais je trouve que la quantité est vraiment très limitée pour le prix, je n'ai pu faire que deux fois la voiture (Golf 7 3 portes blanche) et le flacon est déjà vide ! Je suis aussi déçu de la durabilité, ça ne résiste pas à un ou deux simples lavages en self car wash. J'ai pourtant respecté les règles pour la pose mais l'effet "perlant" de l'eau ne dure pas donc je me demande pourquoi c'est vendu si cher alors qu'une cire liquide à 30 euros d'une autre marque bien connue me donne le même résultat, la même durabilité et surtout de quoi faire ma voiture au moins 4 ou 5 fois. Après je ne suis pas un pro donc peut être qu'un pro y trouvera des qualités et avantages que je n'ai pas remarqué mais quand même je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux.
