Having lived in the DC area for 40 years, I can truly say I love this book! Donna Marcinkowski DeSoto did a masterful job of collecting quilts representing the top sites in our Nation's Capital. If you've ever visited, or were lucky enough to have lived in the DC area, check out this book. It fits so nicely in your hand, is colorful, shows beautiful artwork by over 100 masterful quilters, and makes me homesick. There's a little synopsis of what each quilt represents, including Washington football! Love it!
