Works with we r memory keepers
I saw some other reviews that said this works with the joanns we r memory keepers press so I went for it and they do! Honestly I feel like the quality and fit of the pieces is a little better which is great considering these are much cheaper! Using these to make some concert freebies and I'm happy with my purchase! (I use different holo sheets for overlay instead of the plastic that comes with these so I'm not sure on the plastic fitting but the actual button parts are great!) Also please excuse the paint and tape residue on my desk but I did wanna show them made with this button maker

We R Memory Keepers Functional
Works wonderfully with the We R Memory Keepers button machine and I love the metallic shine of the backings! Keep in mind this is 200 Buttons total but 600 Pieces (200 Tops, 200 Bottoms, 200 Covers) (Also the shiny covers don’t come with this set I bought those separately) I’ve had more success with these than other 37 mm buttons I’ve had before, but occasionally it won’t clamp most likely to machine/paper jam issues.

It's alright.
Some of the pieces came half made, missing the actual pin, pins might be too short but overall is fine. The plastic covers come in soooo tightly packed that when you try to separate them from each other, it creates static and will stick to your button maker, which will cause you to make a dud. Be careful with them.

love for magnets
i love using these for magnets because of the easy way of removing the pin. it does take awhile to do it to all of them though lol

Don't buy!
Don't buy. Clear film is much too big, making the supplies unusable. No way to ask for correct size film, you can only return or replace for refund. Why would you ask for replacement if there is no guarantee you'll get correct size film? The link to PRODUCT HELP is broken. Also, film is cheap plastic, NOT mylar. Don't order. This this a waste of time and money

40% fail rate
I have been using the we r memory keepers button press for over a year. I wanted to try a more cost efficient product, however, these pieces fail about twice as often as the we r memory keepers brand button pieces. They are the same size, same fit, and easy enough to use. The main problem I can see is the button tops curve back out on the bottom like they weren’t pressed correctly. When properly put together they are just as durable, and haven’t come apart. Use your own discretion. If you have limited or one of a kind images that you NEED to work on the first try, I would use brand name. If you are making multiples of design and can stand to loose a few more per design, maybe take the chance.

Great Value
These Hicar brand pin making sets are a great value. I have made well over 500 pins so far. I have reordered 2 times already. Keep in mind the 600 pieces actually make about 200 pins. There are a few unusable pins in the kit, I'd say less than 10. They are not quite as "thick" as other brands . They work and fit well with my Chi Brand Button maker .

I see many reviews saying they don't fit or work. I have a "We R memory Keeper" button press size medium. I have made 20 buttons tonight perfect fit no problems and they feel better than the brand name ones I bought with the machine. I think the bad reviews must be users with different machines and should be clear as mine is perfect and I am ordering more of these buttons

Las 600 piezas hacen 300 juegos, dado que son 300 fichas posteriores, 300 frontales y los plásticos de protección para 300 pines

I have the FASTOBUY Button Maker Machine (4th Gen) for making 37mm 1.5 Inch buttons. My maker came with the plastic back buttons and works great with those. I’d ordered these metal ones a bit worried that they might not work in my machine but they were good value so thought I’d try them. At first I thought they didn’t work with my machine and I was processing a return, but then as I was packing it all up to send back I saw the black spacer ring and wondered what it was for so I googled it. Apparently because metal backed buttons are thinner than plastic ones you need to use the spacer ring when putting the backs on. I tried it and sure enough they worked. They worked splendidly in fact. You can see in the attached video. Now the plastic film on these is more wrinkly around the edges once they’re made than with the plastic back ones I made previously but I think again it’s because they are thinner at the edges, so there isn’t as much of a round edge for the plastic to wrap around to avoid the wrinkles. That said, we generally just do buttons as free giveaways for conventions so a few wrinkles don’t bother me at all for that purpose. However I wouldn’t necessarily be comfortable charging for or selling buttons with wrinkled edges like that. But then again, it could be just my machine + these button supplies = wrinkly edges, so perhaps my machine just makes plastic back buttons nicer and I may revert back to plastic. All in all I’m happy enough with them, and they’d get 5 stars if a) there was some instruction in the pack saying what the spacer was for and how to use it for those of us new to button making or without experience with metal backed buttons, and b) if they didn’t end up with those wrinkles around the edges.
