Very good protection for my iPad. It is just a little bit heavy.

The newer 12” is heavy and this case handles it well. Have dropped it a few times and most of them it closed itself on the way down. I like the texture and feel. Easy to get on and off.I dont like cases that sit on the surface that meets the screen when you close them and that was one of the selling features of this case.

This is the best case for the ipad pro imo. It gives full coverage protection that the apple case doesnt provide and it locks the pen in with the magnetic flap so theres no chance of it falling off when carrying the ipad under your arm like there is with the oem apple case. The outside isnt thick padding like you would expect from a folio case which i didnt want that either so its perfect for me!

This is 1.3 lbs., my ipad is just under 1.5lbs. Makes it very heavy to carry. Also, the pencil is hard to remove/reattach, the flap is a nuisance, the cover doesn’t want to stay flat/closed when carried, and I don’t like the look of black plastic with the pink case (i ordered pink without pocket). It’s too bad, because the viewing angles were great.
