We purchased three of these counters, and they have been working well for over six months. We only wanted very basic traffic information, and these do the job. They were easy to install and get up and running. The app is basic, but works well. We also purchased a subscription for the TMAS software to get access to historical data beyond four weeks, and that has been really useful.

We've used door counters to determine how many patrons visit our library for a few years now, but they just provided a digital tally that we had to halve at the end of the year, and if we didn't keep an eye on the batteries or forgot to reset to zero at the end of the year our numbers weren't entirely accurate. This does all the work for us, including sending an email reminder that the batteries are low or the counter beam is blocked by something, and we can track not only annual status easily but weekly, daily, and hourly using the SMS app. It's really helped us to determine, on average, which days are busiest. This helps us plan programs, as well as make sure we have enough staff. A subscription isn't required (it retains a month of data with the free plan, but we decided to switch to paid so we don't have to worry about forgetting to check one month and losing our data. The folks at SMS are SO helpful and respond quickly if you need support or have questions. We're hoping to purchase another one for our lower level in the future so we can see how much traffic that space receives specifically.

I love our Pearl Traffic Counter. For our small business, it really gives us the insights we need at a great price. It's easy to install and generally easy to troubleshoot. Their customer service is top notch!

Installation and set up is a breeze. The data we get has helped us properly staff the store based on hourly and daily traffic. It has saved us thousands in wasted labor, and gained us thousands in sales in just a few months.

Nice door counter, easy to install. I did end up having to subscribe to the software at an additional cost because I wasn't tracking the traffic as frequently as I thought I would. But now I can run reports and things through the software so it's fine. It does take 8 AA batteries and they seem to need replacement about every 4-6 months. But with the software, I get emails telling me they are running low so I can catch them in time. I would buy again, other door counters I looked at where thousands of dollars. I'm happy with the product.
