The media could not be loaded.  WHile a bit odd to assemble, i was able to get this to work. Its STEEL and SLIPPERY surface is the key.. Its size is importanmt. So far squirrels have not be able to figure it out. In the video its about a 1-1/2 story fall when they fall off.. They keep coming back but after 3 weeks have not gotten to the seeds yet. Its black color is good too in the sun as it gets VERY hot. If you listen in the video they attempt to chew on it to get thru it. So this is way better then a plastic one. So far so good. Very happy.

Only 1 clip survived loose in the box. Clamp is cheap as others mentioned. CHINA!No hardware for hanging. Will rig it myself. Bent tabs out a bit for assembly.I wanted a large metal one and selected this one."Frequently returned item" I do appreciate this warning!

Accessory package including pole clamp was missing because flimsy plastic bag was broken and parts were not in box. Shipping should catch that. Product is otherwise good.

Good: Keeps the squirrels from climbing the bird feeder pole.Bad: Bird crap looks bad against the black finish.Bad: The "knuckle" that grips the pole and holds the baffle up does not grip the pole well enough. As a result, the baffle easily slides down my pole and ends up on the ground (where it does no good!). My solution was to add a hose clamp just below the knuckle. The hose clamp grips the pole well enough to keep everything in place.

We love our new guard , and it really works !

It really works. Tve squirrels cannot get padt it to the food, do they give up.

This item is very well made, but was a bit too heavy for what I wanted it.

Keeps the critters out!

A little diffucult to put together and the feeders need to be place at least 4 feet from and structure, tree or overhead wires because the squirels can jump that far accurately.

Easy enough to install but it doesnt squeeze tight enough to hold any weight. When the big fat squirrels jump on it it falls. Had to rig it up differently to make it work. Needs a better system to hold tight.

Wow! What a PoS! The clamp can’t hold the weight of the cone … flimsy sheet metal and undersized screws. The clips aren’t strong enough to keep the two halves of the cone together. The cone is not secured to the pole so the cone can tip sideways and critters can simply bypass it. Poorly designed, poorly made (does that look like a circular 1” hole to you?) and poorly packed. Anyone who thinks this is a “product” should have their head examined.
