My sons a jazz major at international college. Barry Sax & pianist and all the reviews were great. Bought as Christmas gift and he loved it! Craftsmanship and pages are beautiful

Got this as a birthday gift for my Dad who worked as a jazz musician in NY during this time period. He absolutely loves it and I got to hear many stories about the people and places in it.

This book is an excellent pictorial of Jazz through the years. The photographers capture the true essence of Jazz with candid, serious and fun photos of many of the pioneers of the Jazz Era. The black and white images are awesome and speak to the visual history of Jazz. Absolutely loved the book, so much so that I brought 2 as Christmas gifts.

Hello,Any glimpse into the past is a treasure to me being a Jazz Fan. It is kind of sad that that genre of Music is no longer held to a high regard. After all it is the basis of all "improvisation".
