Allassea Gold Allure Upholstered King Size Bed - Footboard, Rails and Slats

Headboard and siderails are both very nice quality. Be prepared for a longer wait time on the siderails than on the headboard. We got the headboard in a few days, and the siderails took an extra 1-1/2 weeksThe pictures don't show it correctly, though the Q/A does state it, this bed does need a boxspring or other type of support to hold your mattress.On the King size it includes 4 cross rails, each with a center leg for additional support. To get the platform look for the bed, you need a box spring that is the correct thickness. Measuring from the top of the crossrails to the top edge of the siderail is 6". We decided to go with a 5" thick metal frame boxspring so that the mattress will sit down just slightly below the edge. The adjustable headboard is also nice so that we can adjust it to the thickness of our mattress.

Love this bed frame. How ever it states that the bed comes with headboard, rails and slats. Slats cone with a platform bed. This is not a platform bed. What they are calling slats are 3 wood box spring support rails. Other than that this frame is great quality and looks even better in person. I just had to spans the money to convert it to a platform bed.

Horrible!!! My box spring is now ruined because it's bowed from the crappie wood:( so upset:(
