Nice basket
Nice basket. Clean puck release. Improved flow. I got this 22g for my Gaggia Classic. I usually dose 21g and a puck screen, this basket handles that well. Flat and straight.

I'm Impressed
I was surprised when I changed my Kitchen Aid espresso machine's stock basket with this one. This basket offers a lot less resistance than your stock basket so it requires for you to grind finer to maintain the same pressure. The sweetness that resulted from the first shot I dialed in with the new basket was something I had never tasted before. It was as if I had added syrup to my espresso. It really shows that a good quality basket is a good way to spend your money if you are trying to improve the taste of your shots.

So much easier to clean
I figured the “nanotech coating” was a gimmick to sell another espresso accessory, but this has become one of my go-to baskets because it is by far the easiest to clean. It fits my Profitec bottomless portafilter perfectly, and it does seem to flow a little faster than my other baskets. I’ve noticed I have to grind a little bit finer when going from another basket to this one. 2 thumbs up for this basket, you guys nailed it.

Great baskets and seller
Great support from Verybarista. I was able to try this basket as well as the big bang basket. Both are top quality and unique In their own ways. I am still testing their strengths but so far the E&B seemed great for lighter roasts and the big bang basket for darker ones. So many variables but I've had great results from these. I have owned 20 and 18 VST an 18 ims baristapro and now the 15 E&B and Big bang by ims. Since I drink two shots a day I wanted to reduce my caffeine intake slightly and these baskets are the perfect for that. Single 8-12g baskets can be really fussy to dial in and clean out. These baskets are much much better 5 stars

Terrible! Especially for bottomless portafilters
Wasted over a pound of coffee dialing in the new 20g basket, in a new bottomless portafilters. Channeling, major spurting, dead spots, super early blonding. Got tired of dealing with it, hopped on Reddit and sure enough this has happened before. Lots of folks had the same issue, and attribute it to the Nano coating. Not sure how or why the coating would change anything, but it do. Switched this “precision” basket with the basic stamped basket. Same dose, same grind, no channeling, no spurts, blonding late in the shot.I’m sure these are definitely some of the better baskets out there in terms of uniformity and the like, but this is the third NANOTECH basket that I’ve experienced the same issue with.Going to try out a VST precision and see how those do.

Well made, but you need some solid skills to use it well.
This is a nicely made basket, with the nanoquartz coating, nicely made and well finished. However, as others have pointed out, you will get a lot more channeling at the same grind levels as before. My shots were extracting cleanly without spraying until I started using this basket, at which point there was a LOT of spraying. More WDT and careful puck prep tamed it somewhat, but due to the channeling, my shots just weren't as tasty and there was more of a mess. In retrospect I could have put more effort into dialing in the grind more precisely - but I have a nice conical precisely because I don't want to be OCD about the grind setting needed for a good espresso shot. Maybe puck screen or aeropress filter on top could have helped? The other issue is that the stainless alloy used in this basket is non-magnetic, so my funnel no longer stuck to the basket, requiring more careful attention to be paid.Ultimately, I think if you are willing to pay _even_more_attention_ to your espresso than it already takes, then this basket may yield better tasting shots. For me, I felt it added too many requirements for a decent morning espresso, and was more hassle than it was worth - so I returned it.

Requires a good grinder
Works very well. I own multiple sizes. This smaller basket requires a very fine grind to slow the flow with so many holes. Excellent product and delicious espresso

Avoid the nanoquartz coating
Avoid this at all costs. I was looking for a good precision basket but these with the nano quartz coating are not it. They cause channeling and your shot won't look nice because the nano quartz is water repellent. This prevents the "vortex"/"cone" from forming. Using a Pullman/VST basket now.
