Works Great!
Works great! Built nice & strong. Divides my video for my TV & Projector as I expected. It also seperates the audio for the 5.1 surround sound system & the audio sounds excellent.

Not good for high end systems
I have gone through 3 of these, I. E. this one and 2 other brands. None of them pass high quality audio.

So far so good, allowed me to feed an analogue signal into my receiver which powers my patio system. So my tv on the patio now plays over the patio audio system, much better than the poor tv sound. Handy adapter that has been working now for a couple of months

Helped turn my old plasma TV into a smart tv
I have an older Sanyo plasma TV and the roku, chrome cast and cable box would not work with it. I purchased this product after reading another review and it worked perfect without having to use the audio cables. I plugged each of the devices into this with an HDMI cable and plugged an HDMI cable into the out port of this box and into the TV. Everything worked great

Does the job.
Hoped to be able to use with TV and Bose sound. Had to hook up separate cable to get TV with my tuner/amp off.

Sanyo tv to Comcast X1 fix
I bought this for an older Sanyo tv. The Comcast X1 box and the Sanyo do not communicate properly so it was outputting as a DVI connection which requires an audio connection. When I plugged this box inline the sound came through fine without using the audio cables.I have not tested the audio output from this box as they are not needed now for my installation.

Regular audio output for stupid/smart TVs with optical audio
You need this if your TV has optical output only for audio and want regular line-level RCA instead.

Doesn't Work
It doesn't work. Plugged in roku and HDMI output. It would randomly stop working. The red power button would flash and would never turn on.
