I have long hair, which is fine-textured. I have tried many solid shampoos and used one in particular for many years. However, I read about this product and thought I would try it. I used it today for the first time. It lathered well enough, cleaned my hair beautifully, but wasn’t as harsh as some other products : my hair felt clean but not stripped! I followed with a solid conditioner (a different brand) that I had been using for some time, and my usual final rinse of apple cider vinegar diluted 1 to 10 in warm water. The result was shiny, well-behaved hair. This shampoo bar was a pleasure to use, had a gentle perfume, and seems economical, yet does not contain harsh ingredients.

UPDATE...I bought this bar in January and i am only half way through it, still delighted with it. Also realised that its very convenient for travelling as there is no spillage and its light. My hair is very dry and damaged due to age, colouring and mainly sun damage. It is cut every 4 weeks so isn't old long hair, but for the last 3/4years has been dry,brittle and hard to control. This bar of shampoo has been amazing, it is now manageable, shiny, soft to the touch and no longer dry and brittle. It seems strange at first to rub a bar of soap on your head but it lathers up lightly ,(not full on masses of foam like liquid shampoo) I only need one wash. Was alarmed that initially my rinsed hair felt course but used my normal conditioner and it felt fabulous. I no longer use mousse or hair spray, I simply don't need to now, my hair is super soft, manageable and healthy looking with a bounce to it. Love this product. Keep mine dry in the cupboard with no problems of cracking etc. The real bonus is that my hair stays clean for days longer,I imagine it's due to the lack of "sticky" mousse/spray, whatever it is ,it's great.

I've been on a journey to replace my usual shower products with bars, and I've found that trying to find a good bar shampoo has been difficult. Some would coat my hair in a waxy substance, some smelled like pure herbs and some were just overpriced junk.So I bought this looking at the reviews, not actually expecting much.Before I even received the product, I received an email from the seller with guidance saying that it probably doesn't lather as well as liquid shampoos, at which point I just thought "here we go with the negatives". So I picked up the shampoo for my first shower, ready to already hate it.First of all, the smell is incredible. I tend to like products that smell either fresh or sweet so I was dubious as to whether I'd like a 'Moroccan' scent, but it is an absolute delight. I don't know how I'd describe it; sweet, musky, fresh, somewhat floral but vanilla-y? It's gorgeous. Unfortunately it doesn't tend to last in the hair once dry but I don't know if that's the conditioner I use or just it not having a lasting power.The lather was... a surprise. Following the email, I half expected there to be nothing but I find it lathers beautifully and I don't really see a difference to my semi-pro liquid shampoo. The egg shape of the bar is great to hold, but at first when you rub it against your head, it feels odd and like it doesn't do much. But with each use it gets better and easier to use. The slight grittyness of the egg makes it so that it doesn't constantly yeet itself out of your hand but stays there firmly. The small "dent" on the side makes it stay on the bath shelf easily and doesn't slip/slide everywhere.The first time I washed my hair was the day after a wash day, and I felt that my hair was squeaky clean. I was super excited, and the cleanliness does last till about three days in (I have a oily scalp so would normally need to wash every other day). BUT if I go for two or three days without washing, a single shampoo will not get that "squeaky clean" feeling back; a double-cleanse for me is a must.I struggle with Malassezia folliculitis/fungal acne on my forehead and on a vitiligo spot on my hairline and very few products fend off the resulting dandruff. I find that with this, I do need to do a weekly anti-dandruff treatment to ensure there is no flakyness so if you have a larger spot in need of this, the trade-off might not be as easy. On a more positive point, a lot of shampoos leave my scalp feeling itchy but this does not. Using this in combination with my dandruff treatment & conditioner ensures my hair is looking the best it has done in months; and that says a lot, having gone through a lockdown identity crisis with bleach right at hand!For me, it's well worth keeping as part of my routine, and at £6 odd a pop, it's great value for money. I've been using it for a month now, washing every 2/3 days with double-cleanse each time and I'm not even halfway through. I'm very much a splasher/over-user and it generally takes me about a month to go through a bar so even with my usage it lasts a long time!

I love this! The whole bathroom smells gorgeous from it and my hair gained a next-level shinyness after the first use. It does take a tiny bit more work to lather compared with some other shampoo bars, but once it does it makes a lush thick foam, and it probably also lasts longer thanks to it, instead of turning into a sloppy mess. Will buy again

I bought this for the second time recently as our first ran out. We have tried other shampoo bars and been pleased with some, not so much with others, but this was the first bar that my husband really liked as well as myself. Which means instead of two shampoo bottles, we now just have this one bar, saving a lot of space as well as plastic. We bought the Neroli bar first time round and loved it, but as I have problems with frizzy hair I thought I would try the argon oil this time. The shampoo bar still lathers and washed really well, and from our first bar I know it lasts ages. The only thing that I have noticed with the Moroccan argon oil bar is that the scent is much stronger, a bit more than we would like. However as the bar lasts such a long time, we’ll live with it! Next time I will go back to the Neroli scent, as we prefer that

I never thought something solid would work but I loved the look of it so I risked it.I now have it in my subscriptions. Love it so much!My hair is long, I get it caught on door handles and so during the day have it twisted into a bun. It's also half grey now, so quite coarse compared to my youth.This shampoo wasn't easy initially as my hair is thick but I got into a routine of dividing up my hair so I could rub it around my scalp. Then I add water with my hands to create suds which I use to clean the rest before rinsingLove the smell, the feel of it in my hand and tge look in the bathroom. Last thing to add is that I keep it on the side of the bath against the wall and it has never fallen in.
