Super lightweight
Searched high and low for a step such as this. Lightweight not obnoxious but does the job and has a great grip going up and down. Great value for the money!!

Made in China not USA
This will in no way hold 500 pounds AND it stated that it was made in USA but it proudly says on made in CHINA, thanks for the receipt, this will be going back pronto

Good product but came all scratched up
I received my Apex step today. It came with a very large scratch about 1/8" tall in the metal from edge to edge completely across the face through the name "Discount Ramps". The scratch is very noticeable and doesn't compliment the looks of this product. I tried buffing it out but that didn't seem to help lesson the scratches so I installed it as is. It didn't fit tight into the receiver on my 2016 Ford F-150 and seems like it would be prone to rattling when my truck would be in motion. I pounded a wood door jamb shim into the receiver on the bottom of the step shaft where it doesn't show and that tightened it up. The shim probably won't last too long but it fixed it for now until I can figure out a better solution. It seems like it is a well made product but I think quality control could have done a better job on inspecting it for flaws and damage before it was shipped to me.

Exactly as described.
This is a very light weight step with very good traction treads for use in slippery conditions. The step only sticks out from the bumper 6 3/4". I have had hitch balls that stuck out farther than this step.

What You See Is What You Get!
THE EZ Traction Aluminum Step is awesome! Very light & easy to put on! Description said it had a 500 pound capacity! I weight 200 even & it held me well! Was very reasonably priced compared to others I saw!

Late delivery, poor quality.
Average quality. Welds were either done by a beginner, or someone who doesn't take pride in their work. Worst of all it took a month to be delivered, despite saying it was in stock. I can't recommend this product.

Good lightweight step
Makes getting into the van a lot easier on uneven ground. Light weight, and the grip surface is aggressive enough that muddy boots aren't a problem. Most trailer hitch steps are inconveniently large to stow, but this is useful without taking up a lot of cargo space.
