Ideal for the purpose
These adapters are ideal. We're still in Madrid, flying back to the states tomorrow. We've been traveling to Europe for many years, and my supply of adapters was dwindling, so I bought this package. I've made my share of mistakes over the years, so I know what works and what doesn't. On this trip we've been to Germany, Holland, and Spain. We've been in several hotels and several private residences, and all of the electrical sockets have been identical, and these adapters have fit perfectly everywhere. If you buy one of those bulky, multi-pronged, good-in-every-country-in-the-world jobs, you're not only wasting your money, but you'll find that the European sockets are recessed in the wall, so your mega-plug may be too big to fit in that hole. I bought one of those once, and then found I needed a small adapter to fit onto that big adapter, to fit into the recessed socket. In the US, our sockets are flush to the wall, so an adapter nearly the size of a baseball would work fine because size is not an issue. Not so in Europe, where the adapter has to fit into the hole. This package is ideal, and a great value for the money. They weigh nothing, and you get enough of them to leave on your iPad, iPhone, camera charger, razor charger, and anything else charger, and still have enough left over to lose one along the way, give one to a friend or stranger in need, and not have to worry about running short. They fit snugly on your US plug, and into the wall. None has ever fallen out of the wall socket. BTW, England is completely different, Hong Kong and China are different, maybe other countries too. But for sure these work for Europe, including Italy.

Czech, Vienna, Italy - mostly
Having 8 of these for such a great price was awesome. I shared with my travel-mates on our trip and everyone had enough adaptors to plug their stuff in. Note these are just plug adaptors, not power converters. I used with my Kindle, iPhone, and other stuff with no averse effects. I traveled to the Czech Republic (Prague), Austria (Vienna), and Italy (Venice, Manarola, Rome). These adaptors worked in the apartments and trains we stayed at in all 3 countries, BUT be aware there are actually 2 sizes of European round-2-prong outlets, one is these smaller prongs, the other is for prongs slightly larger. In a lot of places the outlets accommodated both types, but that wasn't always the case. So... the smaller ones were a good choice! These adaptors are lightweight, maybe cheap but certainly convenient!

Works great
I ordered these as recommended from a youtuber for Switzerland outlets but I was super skeptical what if it doesn't work and I need a J-Type like how my sisters were telling us to get. I ended getting both types. I felt it was a good price even if i bought the wrong type I would be ok spending that much money on a wrong purchase. These worked well for US 2-prong appliances I brought like straightener, curling iron, power bank, phone charger etc. I even used these in Italy and France as well just to see if it works and it did. They are slim and fit nicely in my electronic cord travel organizer without it being bulky and were mostly used on my trip. I recommend buying these.

Great adaptors for converting US type plug to European type plug
I bought these to use in South Africa. I tested all 8 in the pack. One of the 8 is faulty as the adaptor keeps bouncing off the plug and not staying in place. Will update my review when using them. Update 2020/1/28: More than two years on, they have worked well, for me to use electrical products with US plug in South Africa. Once I also gave one to a US friend visiting South Africa. Will buy them again.

great compact adapters
Our family of 4 took a vacation in Europe in July. These came in handy for using with phone chargers, electric razors, electric toothbrush, and laptop. We only had one laptop that needed a grounded adapter and we knew it, so we had one other adapter for that. These worked great. We didn't have any problem with them not holding on the US plug side. However, they did fit very loosely in some outlets in Italy. Those outlets apparently were the "southern Europe" type and the pins are bigger in diameter

Very sturdy Type-C (NA) connection, very good price for the product
+ The Type-A (North America) connection is very sturdy. You can pull out your plug from the wall and still have the adapter on the end of it. Great for not having to worry about where to put all your adapters. + The Type-C (Europe) plug is sufficient and it works. / The adapter is cheap. It feels and looks cheap. But you know what? It's also priced very cheap. Bang for buck the product is very good. / The prongs are slightly smaller than other plugs. Extending it ~2mm would cost very little in production and significantly improve the performance of the product. However, the prongs are sufficient enough for the product to function. - The only con is that the prongs lack the protective seal that some other plugs have. However, for an 80 cent plug, this is not an issue. Also, a semi-note because I've read some other reviews: this is an adapter. There are no electronic components in it. It is metal and plastic. Other countries also have different voltages in the wall. While North America has 120V, Europe has 240V. Don't blame the adapter because your electronics were fried. That's your fault for not checking the Power Supply/Converter ratings before you plugged it in.
