I've worn glasses for over a decade and during that time I've tried brand after brand of lens wipes, some are OK and some are diabolical and a total waste of time and money. When visiting the optician they always walk away with my glasses and come back a few minutes later with them as clean as almost new, how do they do that? I'm guessing it's with one of these bad boys. The ultrasonic cleaner. I bought this along with Octopus cleaning solution to add to the water - first I tried the cleaning cycle without any of the solution, and the results were quite amazing. Second time I used the solution and it was even more amazing still, the level of clean and shine - plus a slight oleophobic layer afterwards - was unrivalled. No more buffing for ages with a cloth, just rinse, drye and buff gently for a second or two and perfectly clean glasses are the end result. The machine is very easy to use, it fits both my smaller and large lens type glasses - and my sunglasses which are sizeable - so the cleaning bath is a good size. The instructions are clear and even without them it's all fairly self explanatory, intuitive and easy to master.

I used to have all my jewelry quite sparkly as I worked in opticians and was able to bring it in and clean it, but its been a while. My friend was gushing about this cleaner that she got of Amazon so I decided to splurge. OMG! It’s so good. I put a drop of a dish soap in it and out come my jewelry looking sparkly again. It removes all the dirt around the stones and gets silver being silver again, it removes the oxidation. I love it!

This is very easy to use and quite stylish in design too. It really does help clean things like jewellery, brooches etc. You have to be careful with glasses though as prolonged use in the bath saw one pair of my glasses have it’s coating coming off! It’s very small areas but the sonic waves will start to remove the uv coating or the blue coating.

This is an excellent little machine, it does exactly what it says! Unfortunately after 6 months it emitted a very loud bang and stopped working

A nice little unit, easy to operate. However my main reason for buying was to clean glasses. The description on Amazon states that it will clean glasses. On reading the instructions it states NOT TO BE USED ON COATED LENS. I tried with non coated lens glasses and the result was good. I then tried an old pair of coated glasses and when the cleaning was finished (180 seconds). On drying the glasses there were a number of blemishes apparent. On closer examination it appears that there were small scratches and the water appears to have got behind the coating. It's a pity really as it was very apparent from the bottom of the tank that dirt had been removed successfully. Unfortunately had to return the item.

I'm very happy with this ultrasonic jewelry cleaner! It came well packaged, making it an excellent gift option. Using it is a breeze, and the results are remarkable – my jewelry looks brand new in just minutes. It's a must-have for anyone who loves keeping jewellery and glasses clean. Wish I bought this sooner.

I bought this device to assist with the cleaning of a few old earrings and rings that I was lucky enough to pick up from a carboot sale at a very good price (in a large box with a bunch of junk). It didn’t take long for me to make my money back, as behind the few decades of dirt there was some gorgeous pieces which I had valued and then sold via auction which paid for the entire box. The device is incredibly simple to use; you can optionally adjust the cleaning time using the timer function on the LED display. It’s also the perfect size for cleaning eyeglasses and watches.

Bought this to clean the lenses of my glasses. Unfortunately it doesn't, still leaves them smeared. Pity
