DK Eyewitness Travel Guide Southwest USA and National Parks

Great book. Tons of useful information for trip planning. Gave it to my Dad who likes "old school" researching and he loved it.

Greta guide. Used it when we visited the southwestern states. Very informative and it helped make the trip more fun!

We love DK Travel Books. We've used them for trips to Germany, Ireland, Portugal and other places. We were a bit disappointed in this guide though. We've always been impressed with the amount of detail we found for our European trips. This book seems to be light on detail unless you plan to visit "the" major cities (i.e. Las Vegas). For less popular Southwest US destinations I'd recommend looking for a different guide.

As always, the DK Eyewitness Travel guides are outstanding assistance in planning and fully enjoying your trip.

Beautiful book.

I have purchased this book for a holiday later in the year. The information inside provides me with all of the detail that I require. Like the history, points of interest to visit, illustrations and road maps showing what routes to take. I have purchased other books in this series and as with the rest I was am disappointed.

Schön bebilderter und gut gegliederter Reiseführer, der ins Detail geht, aber dennoch einen guten Überblick gibt. Meiner Meinung nach besser als die vergleichbaren Reiseführer von Rough Guides, Lonley Planet, etc.

Does not include three of the newest and most interesting attractions in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area: the aquarium, the butterfly wonderland and the musical instrument museum.
