A nurse loves this product.
I disagree with housewife08’s review. I don't have any trouble creating a seal, doesn’t not require excessive pressure, and do not need to touch my genitalia to place it. It takes just a little practice.I’m a nurse and having placed many female catheters, I realize that women have different anatomical location of their urethra opening, sometimes even within the vagina. I would guess that this device would work even for those women.I would love it if our hospital would carry these instead of bedpans. It would save women with hip fractures use of a bedpan which requires turning and inevitable pain.

Update: I just got back from our month long trip through Asia with my Pibella. I traveled in a group with roughly 20 women and I was the only one who brought this type of item. It worked flawlessly for me on my trip and came in handy when traveling through busy airports with nasty dirty bathrooms to traveling through rural country side and having to pee in the bushes. I did find myself washing it after each use when water was available. The Pibella was very useful especially when others would complain that toilet paper wasn’t available or only ground toilets were available. A lot of places we gravel when camping and so forth have dirty nasty toilets so I will continue to take this with me even on routine daily errands.Update: Some women questioned the cleanliness of using a product that actually has to touch you vs the funnel or cup style. So to address that I am having a hard time imagining using this more than once without washing the portion that inserts. I may carry Sani wipes with this to clean that portion after use. Furthermore this is messy to use when on your period since it does require insertion into the V@**nal canal. I have been solely using this device for four days now and have just recently experienced reliable success. I found reliable success after making sure that there wasn’t any excess skin caught in the Pibella, it needs to make a flush seal inside of the Labia minora and sit below the anterior portion of the vulva. There is no need to slow or control the flow with this device.Original ReviewSome Reviews seem either very against or in excessive favor of this product so please read each review but don’t rely on them solely when judging this product. As a registered nurse myself I chose this product over the Pstyle because it offered the ability to cleanly pee. In other words I can use this and not have to worry about using public restrooms or toilet paper while traveling in remote foreign countries because after using this there isn’t a mess down there to clean up. The item just arrived yesterday and I have used it three or four times in practice and it’s not intuitive and it is going to take me quit a bit of practice but I was prepared for the learning curve after reading and watching many product reviews. Every woman’s urethra is going to be in a slightly different location and at a slightly different angle so don’t expect to be able to use this straight out of the package even if other women report flawless use. For me I do have to place this internal of the Labia with a slight bit of applied pressure to create a really good seal so that i don't pee all over myself. Once the seal is in place this thing works amazingly! Now I just want to drink a lot of vitamin water so I can keep peeing in this thing!Pros:I like the no mess clean peeIt came with a blue carrying bagCompact, discrete, and light weightGreat feeling, non irritating material used in the making of the pibellaCons:I think I am still going to have to remove my pants in order to use this, at no fault of the product. Most of my hiking and outdoor pants don’t have any zipper or button access.

A Great Idea In Theory
I have used several FUD's including the Freshette, PStyle, the Whiz, and now Pibella. Out of all of these, I rate Pibella as my third favorite.I can see what the designers were attempting to achieve with this device, and it is a great idea. For me, it is a bit challenging to use in reality. The device must be inserted vaginally and must touch the top of the vaginal wall. I was able to use this device successfully the first time. The second time, I did not have it positioned just-so and made a bit of a mess on my jeans and undergarment. This morning I used the device successfully. Attempt #4 I caught myself making a bit of a mess once again. I was able to stop the flow and re-position the device and continue on without incident.I suppose with more practice, this device will work. My fear is just quite frankly I cannot trust it and my positioning enough to use in public without making a mess. I will continue to use the Pstyle. It just works better for me.

Great idea and easy to use
I've been a camper & wilderness traveler for decades and we didn't have anything like this early on. Women had to have a can handy, squat while holding their clothing well out of the way, or learn to flare the labia and aim away from the body. But with Pibella, you can have a lot more discretion as well as a clean stream. If you are comfortable with your body and understand how things work, you should immediately understand the intent of this little object. There is an upward slanted tail that when place just at the opening of the vagina (not in the vagina) will automatically place the opening of the Pibella over the urethrae. There's no suction or physical discomfort. I had zero learning curve. My only wish is that it were either a bit longer or came with an extension hose. With Pibella, you can get away with not wiping if you had to. Personally, I always use a portable bidet out in the wild where once or twice a day you can just use water to freshen everything up, and it works better than toilet paper.

Once you get the positioning down, this device is ...
Once you get the positioning down, this device is fool proof. I use this at home to save toilet paper, and I have it handy for travelling. I used to have another popular device that has more of a canal or chute style shape, and urine sometimes flowed over the sides if I did not control/slow the flow. With the PiBella I can just go for it and I know it is safe.
