Another ‘off label’ use... this is great for carrying small dog treats. While on a walk with our dog, leash in one hand, I can hold the vial and pop the lid with my one free hand and instantly reward good behavior. Lid stays on tight and pops off with just the right amount of thumb pressure. Not too easy, not too hard.

Exactly what I needed it to do: easy and quick access to daily pills that prevents spills if knocked over. I've been using them for several months now and no issues. The top connection to the tube is sturdy enough that it will not easily break off even with daily use. The cap snaps shut tightly enough that it won't come open on accident, but takes little effort to thumb it open. But these are in no way childproof!They may be a little small if you have multi-month refills of larger sized pills, but the size works great to hold enough to last you several days with larger pills or several months with small ones.

These vials work well for our application in a laboratory. They are more transparent than other vials we have used, making it easy to see through them when we fill them with samples. These vials are not too difficult to open or close either.

Used them to keep my leaders, hooks, and weights for fishing. Flipped over in my kayak, these went in the water. Everything inside stayed dry.

I used to get these for free when years ago I worked with milk dairies and needed to take health samples. Test samples were kept in these. I still have many left over which I still use daily for keeping small personal items in. They are great.I've included a photo with an AA battery next to it for size comparison.
