The nests are beautiful. They are sturdy. Nice color and my sister loves them. Me too. The loop at the top is secure. They look even better than the picture. I would say anyone with hummingbirds in their yard these are worth it.

They work great for very small finches such as our tropical Black-faced Grassquits(Melanospiza bicolor). These are very small finches (the male is 2 1/2” and the female is only 3”). I now have a second pair nesting! Our warblers didn’t use them because they are a bit larger and prefer to build larger nests. I have mine hanging in a balcony and of course lure them in with seeds and treats.

I recently cut down a dying tree and to my surprise had a house finch nest in it with two babies. The babies survived the fall but there home or nest was destroyed! So I had purchased these earlier to see if other birds would use them but was unsuccessful. A little small…but they worked as a new home for the baby birds that lost their nest. I place it in a nearby tree with the babies in it on a nearby tree and the baby parents accepted it as their new home…awesome!

Items seem pretty well made. And perfectly functional. Did you plan to use these as actual nesting sites so we will see how they hold up.
