JB's Fat Boy Premium All Purpose Rub, 8 Pound

This is a great rub for everyone from the beginner to the pro. It's the only rub I use for all my chicken and pork. Nice low heat that you can feed the kids and family. If you need more heat just add Cayenne pepper to it or if you want it a little sweeter add brown sugar. I've looked into make my own rub and you can't justify the cost. This is 25 cent on the dollar if you tried making it yourself. It does come in 4 oz otherwise a lot of grocery store carry it too. Try it you won't be sorry. Josh

My husband purchased a smaller bottle/jar of this and loves it. Instead of continuing to purchase the smaller jars, I just bought the larger one to refill the smaller one.

I originally got a small jar of Fat Boy Great all-purpose meat rub (when they called it "butt rub") as a joke, with no intention of using it. But, one day in the kitchen I had a recipe asking for a rub, and this was the only one I had. It was terrific! I use it on beef, pork, fish, elk, everything!

Great all around rub, thats why I bought so much.Now, who ever packaged it did a terrible job. the bottle was almost cracked open. it was shipped in a big box with no insulation of any kind.

Great for smoking ribs a little spicy nothing a little brown sugar can't fix

Heavy strong black pepper taste it's not a marinade it'll set on top when you cook it and you have to scrape it off it's not a meat marinade rub

It's a great basic rub. You can add your own individual spices to make it better
