It works great in my kenmore refrigerator

We had not replaced the water filter as often as suggested. This water filters were so easy to replace the old one and the water in the dispenser taste much better.

It was MUCH less expensive than a Kenmore brand original filter, and I had no problem removing the original and replacing it with this one. It fit fine. No leaks. I ran some water through it, as suggested, to clean the line and rid any lingering odors, if any, and I'm very happy with the results. How well does it filter? No telling. I'm not sure how you would measure its effectiveness in removing odors and impurities . But it's in place and all the water is running through it. That's the best I can do. I'll just have to trust the results.
