Easy to use and filled the door molding perfectly
Perfect for some door moldings that needed to be repaired and this worked seamlessly and so easily filled the cracks and crevices. Looks great and you can't even tell it's there at all, simple to use and highly recommended

Works great!!!
Definitely fills wood, easy to sand and takes paint very well. Highly recommend for wood repairs, it does obviously dry white so you will need to stain if it's dark wood you're repairing.

Easy to sand
I required a white wood filler. This was one of two commonly available. When smoothing out it seems a bit particle like, not as smooth as a caulking. It dries properly, easy to sand. The 6 oz went faster than expected, the size is fine for smaller jobs, but not a good value. I'm pleased with the quality, had no problem sealing the tube.

Colored Wood filler
Great product. Used to fill holes. Color matched up well. Easy to work with and would definitely buy again in different colors for different projects. As described and fast shipping.

Use this in place of spackle. Much better product.
I use this stuff to patch nail holes on the walls and it works so much better then spackle. When you use spackle a lot of the time it dries with a concave divot and you need to apply another coat. This plastic wood latex filler dries flat so you only need one coat usually. It also dries very quickly which is very convenient. It is super easy to apply and does not have any noticeable smell. The color is like a light beige with a little yellow tinge to it. It covers very easily with paint and can be sanded down nicely. Highly recommend this product over spackle.

Perfect fix
We accidentally tore the handle off the hollow door to the laundry area while storing the door. Giant hole, handle hanging by a bent screw, door didn't look salvageable. I tried this as a last ditch effort - squeezed a bunch into the hole, leveled it out, braced the handle so it wouldn't move out of position while drying, and left it for a day. I fixed a few small dings the door had when I moved in while I was at it. Came back and gave it a quick sanding and some touch up paint, and you'd never know it had been damaged. It was easy to sand but hard enough I didn't have to worry about removing too much or having it crumble like a large spackle repair. Once dry, the handle was securely in place and it should hold up well. I didn't get charged for the door and it's actually a better fix than some of the previous ones before my tenancy. Well worth the money, would use this to patch fix again.

Works best for horizontal application, not vertical with exposed edge
I needed some wood filler to fix the bottom edge on one corner of a vertical wood trim piece sitting on the concrete floor just in front of my garage door, where animals had chewed out an opening to enter the garage. I've always used the thick type of wood filler that comes in a small can, but decided to try this "plastic wood filler" because it was white, the same color as the painted wood piece I was repairing. While I eventually was able to build up enough filler to take care of the problem, it took many applications of a small amount of filler because its consistency was thinner than I expected. So each application of a small amount had to dry overnight to be able to add more fill to eventually create a vertical edge and fill the opening of about half an inch in width. The consistency was really too soft and runny for what I was trying to do. I think the traditional type of wood filler would have worked better as it is much thicker. This material is more like the consistency of silicone caulking, so it has a tendency to drip/run very slowly downward when applied to create a vertical edge. It should be OK in a horizontal application. Also, when dried, I would that this material is not as hard as the traditional type of wood filler.

White DAP Plastic Wood Filler is the best DRYWALL-repair product around. Period.
This product isโhands downโmy favorite wood filler (although the packaging could be greatly improved). After you use about half the tube, it requires a lot of hand strength to dispense the rest of the product. Despite my weak woman hands and the overly thick packaging, I'm still a devoted fan because it's such a versatile product. For exampleโI use it mostly for wall drywall repair. Yes. Drywall repair. After trying out dozens of different types of spackling and drywall compounds, I've found that nothing beats a tube of white DAP Plastic Wood Filler. It doesn't shrink, becomes almost as strong as the drywall panel itself, andโonce dryโ sands down and takes paint like a dream. (For repair areas that need to support load-bearing nails or wall anchors, Mohawk Epoxy Putty Stick in White is the way to go). Bonusโafter my drywall repair spot is flush with the surface, I simply dapple some additional DAP wood filler over the area, let it dry for a few minutes, and then smooth/shape it with a small boar's-hair paint brush and water. Presto chango. I have wall texture! No messy cans of spray texture required. DAPโplease offer the white plastic wood filler in the tub size. I'm SO over compounds.

ideal for smoothing 3D printed parts
I use this on PLA+ 3D printed parts and it works great, can be thinned with a little water or Acetone if you need it to dry quickly. I would suggest cleaning with a damp cloth as even when dried and sanded this stuff seams to wash off in water pretty easily. Paints over with no issues.

Mold & shaping
Easy to mold or shape . . but yet to see how tough it is when its dries up.

New product for me
I have not used this certain plastic wood before. So far, so good. I did not get a chance to stain it, due to unexpected rain for days. The cracks in my wood deck are still sealed well. Some areas where it was not level, water would pool on it and the plastic wood, would turn yellow. I will sand that down and really let it dry out. Other woodfillers do not work outside. Plastic is excellent
