Superb for ice cream!
Decided to buy a large tub of glucose for home made ice cream, rather than spend over £2 for 150g in the supermarket. This is cracking value by comparison.

Extremely thick but great value for money
I've bought "Special Ingredients" before and I've always been pleased with the quality. The Glucose Syrup is no different -- tastes great, made perfect soft-serve ice cream. My only gripe is that it is incredibly thick -- much thicker than the glucose syrup I've used before. Very similar to maltose in consistency. Overall however, a great purchase.

Type 1 diabetes
A spoonful of this dissolved into a 1/4 mug of hot water has been amazing for hypo's. As good as the old lucozade before they needed the sugar content and means we can recover the hypo on a small shot rather than a large glass of lucozade or fat coke!
