Not only this is a very good product, but it is also beautiful. It is sizable, so I was able to put in quite a bit of butter.

There's nothing that I dislike about it. The butter comes out soft and moist. Changing the water every 3 days is no trouble and very important! It adds a very quaint and "old timey" look on the counter. I can remember my great-aunt Amy using something very similar for the butter she churned when I was a little girl in the fifties.

This arrived very well packaged with shaped foam protection for all parts Porcelein is known to be stronger than ceramic. Also, since I live in Texas, I will use cold water and/or throw an ice cube in water in the bottom of container during hotter days to prevent butter from getting too warm. In my experience, all butter bells need this to prevent butter from sliding out of top holder on those hot days.

Who knows they NEEED a Butterbell? I knew I needed soft butter but I hadn’t heard of a Butterbell until I stumbled on one, and now apparently, everyone’s grandmother told them except for mine. Sorry grandma, I don’t think I was paying attention that day. Anyway, I almost eliminated toast from my diet because of hard cold butter but now… I get Dave’s thin whole grain, toast it lightly twice, put a lite schmear of butter, then avocado spread. Does anybody know about a 12 step program for butter and avocado schmear addicts…? No really. Nice people don’t judge. 🤨

Bought this for my son and DIL. It came with no instructions on how to use it. I have another brand and was able to give them so direction on how to make it work for them based on the instructions in my butter crock. Looks nice and I think they will use it

Totally fell in love with this Butter Bell. Looks great! Works like it should. So much nicer than my last one. It holds 2 sticks of butter. The only thing to figure out was where to fill the water to. Would be nice if there was a visible fill line inside, but does have a minor ridge. It just is not very visible. Definitely would recommend.

My daughter gave me one for my birthday. I love it. I tried to have butter in a butter dish on the counter for spreadable butter but it always soured. Not with this crock. Love It.

We had gotten a small butter keeper as a gift. It didn't have a base and only held a quarter pound of butter. We were constantly refilling it, and it broke easily. This one holds a pound of butter, and keeps it fresh with the water. The base makes it pretty to put on the table - but the best part is how easy it is to spread butter from it. My husband has bread every morning, so this works like a charm.
