Orlimar Golf Mat for Optishot Simulator (3' x 5')

This mat is thin. I use it mainly for my feet to stand on.The mat goes on top of subfloor tiles which you can buy at home improvement stores. This will allow the subfloor+mat to be same as height as optishot.

Being able to put on my golf shoes when I practice seems to make a huge difference. Also, enables better practice swings since now I can step back from the Optishot and not worry about scratching my wood floors.. I don't yet know how durable it is, but it seems thick and study enough. It fit perfectly and looks good.

First, it's well made which is why it gets two stars. Two issues that killed if for me; 1) it's not as thick as the optishot so still 1.5 2 inches lower. 2) the cut out is off center, so for short irons you feel like your left foot is off the edge of the mat. should have been a center cut out. I'm not returning it, I just glued stiff carpet padding to the bottom and turned it around. I've got the optishot off the end of the mat instead of in the cut out. that works well enough and saves about $200, which is the price difference from buying the one from Optishot.

So far this mat has held up pretty well. Price is just a little high for what it is that is the reason form missing f fifth star. I’ve had for about a year and a half with no issues using with my OPtiShot. Only issues have been with the OPtiShot itself. Keep in mind you will still need 3/4 inch plywood with this mat if you want to be level with OPtiShot swing pad.
