Gorgeous!!
I got two of these pineapple coach lamps in matte black—as well as a matching pendant light for over the front door—they are beautiful!I am an older woman and installed them myself. I have a bit of DIY experience with electrical work, but I think the installation is easy compared with other lighting. It was MUCH harder to remove my old coach lamps than to install these! Make sure you leave time for removing the old ones as part of your project.I had to search all over the product description to figure out what kind and size of bulbs to buy for these fixtures so I hope to save you the trouble: This fixture takes two candelabra bulbs with the small base (“E12” is the size of the base). I used “vintage” look LED bulbs in 3000K (kelvin) which is soft white. They look beautiful in these coach lamps. When hanging the coach lamps, I used a small level on the vertical base of the fixture to test for level. Just level that base—don’t worry about the lightbulb stems or the metal central post that runs through the light fixture—none of that shows once the glass pineapple globe is on top. What I like:Very elegant lights! Very welcoming symbol of southern hospitality. Great in any tropical setting!Easy installation. The diagram is particularly helpful for a straightforward installation and assembly. At 18 inches high, they are a very good size—big enough to “make a statement” and be noticed—but not at all huge. What I don’t like:—It’s necessary to adjust (a couple/few times) the LENGTH of the mounting screws that protrude from the mounting plate over the electrical box—so that they are just the right length to hold the light fixture and then for the decorative screw caps to fasten on tightly. (Those hold the fixture to the house.)—There is a metal central “pole” inside the pineapple—that also has to be *just the right length* in order for the finial cap on top of the pineapple to screw onto the top. It was also necessary to adjust that length a few times. The threads on the both ends of that metal central “pole” were rusted. I sprayed those rusty ends with a bit of lubricant.—The glass pineapple is very thin. I had to feel it a couple of times to convince myself that it IS glass and not acrylic.—They provide two black rubber seals for the top and bottom (open) edges of the glass pineapple globe; on one of my lights, that rubber seal kept coming off during installation and was a bit of a pain in the neck. I did finally get it to say on while I screwed the light fixture parts together.—If you need to change a lightbulb, you have to unscrew the finial on top, remove two layers of metal pineapple “leaves”, a clear silicone washer, a metal decorative cap, and the glass pineapple globe. Sheesh! I would prefer to NOT have to touch that pineapple globe—it is NOT securely attached to the fixture—it is held on only when you screw all the parts together over a long central metal post. I got LED bulbs so that it will hopefully be a very long time before I need to change any bulbs. You should purchase some clear silicone to caulk around the edges of the mounting plate (to keep the rain out) where the fixture meets the house. The instructions say to leave a small opening (no caulk) at the bottom so that condensation and moisture can drain out. It would be convenient to have that clear silicone caulk on hand so that you can caulk the base right after you install the light fixture—then you are *really* finished with the job!Despite what might look like a long list of “what I don’t like”, I do *LOVE* these pineapple coach lamps and am SO HAPPY with them!Overall, I am thinking that at $121 each, these are a little more expensive than the materials would seem. But am very happy to have them and could not find them any less expensive elsewhere.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you!

Look great, not too large, easy to install.
These take two (2) B10 bulbs in each. These only come as a single unit, so if you have two lights on the outside of your house/garage order two (2) units. So you'll need four (4) bulbs total. Fairly straight forward, if your builder put in the universal mounting kit you'll want to trash that and use the one provided, the hole spacing was different than what was already on my house (closer together). You may have to adjust how far the screws are out just do a test fit before fully mounting it. I used a 7mm socket to tighten the cover screws, not too tight or it'll bend the metal, just snug so it doesn't flop around. Also, one of your lights likely has two sets of wires, use the wire nuts that are already there for that side, they're larger, but use the smaller orange wire nuts included in the kit for the other side as the large nuts from your builder are likely too large to secure the wires. Just some hints from my install last night. Other than that they look great. The ex-wife even said they looked nice. For whatever that's worth.

They're Beautiful!
We really wanted a motion sensor detection light in the Pineapple shape, but have tried for years to find them without spending over $1,000 for them. These are electric, they were easy for my husband and I to install, and they're really lovely. They are a beautiful semi-round pineapple shape and my neighbors have all admired them. The price was really good and they came packed very well so no breakage. Good seller and good product.

Look great
Nice product in general. The mounting bracket does not exactly line up with American handy boxes, had to use a unibit to modify holes. I purchased two fixtures, both brackets had the same fit. Very nice looking fixtures, but I was expecting glass globes. Nicely packed.

Great product and Excellent company
Lights are very attractive and commented on by guests. They are durable, we have 4 of these lanterns purchased in 2014. This summer, 2020, we were vandalized and the glass portion of one of the lights was broken. I contacted the company in order to buy a replacement. To my surprise, after verifying my purchase, they sent me a new replacement at no charge. That was much appreciated!
