Creme Savers Orange and Creme Hard Candy | The Taste of Fresh Orange Swirled in Rich Cream | The Original Classic Creme Savers Brought To You By Iconic Candy | 6.25oz Bag

I have been trying to find these for my wife in grocery stores for years. They used to be known as Lifesavers Creme Savers. It turns out that Lifesavers sold the product line to Emporium Candy who now offer both the the Orange Creme Savers AND Strawberry Creme Savers flavors. I bought a bag of each fruit flavor and they taste exactly the same! The Orange Creme Savers were $2 cheaper per bag. Be sure you search well and check all options because some of the same bags by the same seller are priced higher for some dumb reason. The same company also offers the Creme Savers product with Scripture verses if you search. If you buy those in serious bulk, even with added shipping, you can get a better deal, but how many of us want 2 pounds of hard candy at one time? I'm just happy to find these hard candies since they were out of production for about 10 or 12 years after Lifesavers kicked them to the curb. My wife is diabetic and sometimes her blood sugar dips down below 65 (100 is normal fasting BS) when we are out of the house so she needs a quick dose of sugar, not a lot mind you. We find 2 hard candies will bring her blood sugar out of the danger zone without adding a lot of calories. (They are 20 calories each with 3 grams of sugar) She tells me these taste identical to the former Lifesavers version and we'll be ordering them again. In case anyone cares, the bags state that both flavors are made in Greece. I don't care so long as they taste the same and all the ingredients appear to be the same as we remember. we'll be ordering again soon My wife used to prefer the Strawberry Creme Savers but lately, she's been preferring the Orange. Fine by me cuz the Orange flavor is cheaper. She says it reminds her a bit of the old Creamsicle Popsicle flavor.

My husband had a hankering for these creamsicle candies one day and they're almost impossible to find in my local stores. I bought several bags from this seller and hubs takes them to work for a sweet treat throughout the day. Big fan and price was the same as getting the strawberry ones locally.

These taste more like plain orange candy than the creme taste. Like I say you could probably buy just plain orange candy disks or a local off market and have the same flavor of these. They have a super strong orange flavor vs the creme taste. I remember the originals having more of a creme flavor vs these "remakes". Not saying there not good, as they are great, but like I say they have a stronger orange flavor than anything!

These are always one of my personal favorites to keep in my purse. Anytime I’m craving something sweet I immediately go for one.
