Used as purge plugs for welding 3 inch od stainless exhaust (these fit the id so be careful which size you order). Drilled a hole in one for my gas line and a tiny one in the other for an o2 escape. Worked great and stood up to the heat without issue. Honestly couldn't even tell it had been exposed to the heat from welding. Significantly cheaper than the other options out there. 10/10 would recommend.

Used for back purging 3in exhaust. Fit ok and would not but near direct heat.

Way better than the $200 purging kit for tig welding

Washed them well, but scent remained. As I did not want the water stored in the jars to get that scent, I covered them first with plastic. They still snugged to close the jars. I really like them and may have to leave them in a container of baking soda to neutralize scent. Love the purple color too.

Used this for a back purge setup for some welding. Holds up very well to direct contact with the heat. Deformed and discolored slightly when I had to weld right over it pretty much, but it still does the job. Would buy again.

Very good plug for powder coating hydroflask bottles. I bought three other sizes trying to find the right size that will fit the bottles. This one fits it perfectly.
