What a find!!! Great tool!
I was amazed at the quality throughout. I was prepared to be disappointed and instead am thrilled . I got in on a sale for $119.00 and this easily outshines Harbor Freight and all the other big name tools. I hope you are willing to try. At 80 years old I am a tool freak so this is high praise! Nick

Very handy
Only flaw I can say is for the length this extends to, I wish it had a more substantial handle. It is awkward trying to trim bushes flat- 7ft away and not having much leverage on the end of the pole.I added my own ring to the bracket for the sad little sash they give you so that I could swap it for the back pack style carrier I had for my Stihl trimmer. That helped a lot with the awkward/leverage factor. The blade for hedge trimming is just as sharp as other high end motorized trimmers I've used. I will say this doesn't quite get the speed as a fuel powered model does. So if that's what you're used to, you'll need to slow down your technique a bit, which is more wear and tear on your body so get ready for the awkward factor lol.But positive notes are it's convenient, battery lasted to trim all 8 of my severely overgrown variety of bushes, and the blade is no worse for the wear. My bushes don't look any different than if I had used a high end gas pole trimmer. And I'm happy to have saved a few hundred bucks. The pole saw attachment I used on my apple trees and works great. You won't be easily cutting through anything bigger than a 4" diameter, but it gets the job done just fine.Overall as a prior landscaper I am happy with it for use around my house. I would not recommend it in your fleet of full time equipment though.

Rugged, Practical Pole Hedge Trimmer/ Chainsaw
We have a large veggie garden and orchard, and a number of climbing and regular rose bushes. I do a lot of foliage-cutting and hedge-trimming. I have other cordless electric hedge trimmer and chain saws, but it’s tough to use them to shape and prune things like a rose arbor I have to get on a ladder to reach, and fruit trees, especially towards the center. This 2-in-1 hedge trimmer and chainsaw lets me do the job. With the cutting head at the end of the extendable pole, I can reach those hard to get at areas while standing on the ground. The cutting heads are well made and sharp. They snap firmly into the quality aluminum pole. The heads are adjustable for angle by pressing in the black buttons on the hinged end. The safety factor has been well thought out. The heads go into the pole by pressing in the two sprung buttons, and then there’s a locking lever as well. That lever is repeated on the sturdy pole-length-adjustment fitting further along. The handle is easy to grip and there’s both the trigger and another button on the handle your hand needs to depress for the power to come on.Both the trimmer head and chainsaw have sharp teeth and easily cut through most foliage. In fact, I used the chainsaw to chop down rows of corn stalks and even the 3-inch diameter trunks of a few giant sunflowers—like butter. The 20V rechargeable battery powers the unit. So far, I have not run out of juice on any project I’ve done. To recharge, simply slide the battery off the handle and plug in the charger. There are 3 lights that show you how much charge is left. Plugged in, they flash and light up in sequence until they go solid with a full charge.I like that the chainsaw has a bar-lube tank, easy to fill, and a window in the side so I can see when to top up. The saw itself will need to sharpened from time-to-time, just like any other chainsaw. I use a Dremel with a cylindrical grinding head to make the job easy. Also, it’s necessary to lubricate the trimmer head now and then. One thing I hadn’t thought of, but turned out to be handy: I have some areas near the house which I need to weed-wack, but there are windows nearby. It is super easy to send a rock flying that could break glass (I learned the hard way). I found out, I can adjust this trimmer so the head is parallel to the ground. Using the pole handle, I use this in the same way as a weed-wacker, so I cut the weeds near the dirt. It does not throw pebbles at all, so that’s useful.Highly recommended!

Awesome trimmer combo!
I'm pretty impressed with this trimmer set! I had a lot of honeysuckle that took over certain areas of my yard, and needed dealing with- my old hand tools took way too long for my liking, and I've been literally aching for a power tool like this. This trimmer combo is just right to take out the overgrown mats of honeysuckle, as well as to have a long reach to tackle the poison ivy growing along one side of my fence.First thing I did with this trimmer was to chop at a mat of honeysuckle that was about 3' thick, and 6' wide. It took off the top layers fairly quickly, and exposed the trunks to cut them out as well. The chainsaw requires oil and the oil wasn't provided, but luckily my s/o had some on hand, and I was able to slice the thick, tough and woody trunks of the honeysuckle with ease. This saw's motor runs a bit slower than other power tools I'm used to, but it works very well and gets the job done, and I love that it's cordless. I have a long yard, and no outdoor outlets- cordless tools are very welcome to me.This saw is also great for trimming the higher and scraggly branches on my hackberry and tallow trees. I have several manual pole saws, but that's brutal work with hackberry wood. Now I can clean them up without needing a day to recover afterwards! The strap of this saw makes it easy to carry and wield , the attachments are easy to switch out, the extending handle locks securely, it charges quickly, and the battery life is about what is expected. I can use this saw overhead easily, since it's weight is well-balanced. It doesn't take up a lot of space when retracted and the attachments removed, and it fits very well into my small storage area.I'm quite happy with this trimmer combo, and my yard is looking better than ever now!ApolloSmart 2 in 1 Pole Saw and Hedge Trimmer 18-inch 20V 2Ah Lawn and Garden Landscaping
