Extreme Pak Utility Bag

I ran across one of these at American Science and Surplus a few weeks ago and it was marked down from $39.99 to $12.99. My girlfriend loves stuff like this so I decided to pick one up for her. After a few days I was thinking about how it would have made a great range bag for holding a couple of cased handguns with ammo and some mags. Then I started to wish that I had gotten another one. So I ran back to American Science and Surplus and fortunately they had one left so I snatched it up! My curiosity got the best of me so I did a search for this bag on Amazon and boom there it was for just a dollar more than I had already paid. So I went ahead and ordered another one to have as a general small gear bag for fishing or hunting or whatever. For the price you really can't beat these and I'm thinking of ordering a couple more just to have on hand as spares. And also for the price if anything does go wrong I can always just patch it back up or reinforce it.

This bag exceeded my expectations with its size. It's perfect for what I need it for, and with the ability to add onto it with the MOLE system. Only downside is when I got it it smelt like it had been sitting in a dark damp basement for well over a year. Just that moldy mildew smell which I was able to get rid of with a bunch of Lysol hence the 4 stars.

I drive the busiest paramedic fire engine in the city and a lot times we don't need to carry in an entire ALS assortment. I carried this bag in my POV for trauma related response tools and decided to bring it in for my crew to try out. We use this bag numerous times throughout the shift and it's absolutely perfect! So great, that we've kept it on our engine and I've bought another for my personal vehicle. It really is the right tool for the job!

And by that I mean, Absent (from home) without Luggage. If you've ever spent an unplanned night or two AWOL, say, you got stuck somewhere in a blizzard (Atlanta, anyone?) you know how important it can be to have a couple pair of underwear, maybe a tee shirt, and some snacks and toiletries in the car. This bag is of a good size for that without being too heavy or too military-looking. it does have a bit of molle webbing for attaching smaller bags, a flashlight, or small items to it. I would have liked to see some webbing on the sides of the bag, or perhaps a water bottle holder. As is I give it 4.5 stars.

When I got this I thought it was going to be a hunk of crap. I was way wrong! Holds my bible, journal, large workbook, and notebook. Plus in the little compartment its got my pens and pincles a small dictionary and 3"x5" cards. I love my pack well worth it. Only down side is the top flap doesn't stickt to the velcro all to well. Doesnt matter though it stays enough.

I had high hopes for this bag, as I needed something larger to accommodate a planner that is 13"x9"x2".The dimensions stated were NOWHERE near that... I measure it to be 12"x10"x4", not even close to the 15"x11"x7" stated in the description. I could not fit my planner in at all.I will keep the bag as a "backup," although the quality of the workmanship seems less than more expensive bags. Heck, you get what you pay for, right? Zippers seem inexpensive, and the woven strap seems a bit thin. I suppose the proof is in the use.I would suggest that one might do better at looking at some of the alternatives, of which Amazon seems to have many.

Chest strap so small (short) it would only fit a child.

My kid loves it. Fits all his electronics, gear and stuff perfectly.
