ORIGINAL IMPRESSIONS: Smoked chicken and pork, both looked awesome, but fell flat on taste. These pellets burn really fast too! So if you are using a pellet smoker tube like me, be prepared to try and fish it out when hot to refill the pellets, or get only a slight Smokey flavor.UPDATE:Now have a Pit Boss vertical smoker. Tested it by smoking some chicken leg quarters. Very tasty after 2hrs @ 250 & another hr just smoking, VERY TASTY. Will definitely get more of this flavor, also plan to try the Competition Blend & Hickory. Side note, nearly no ash to clean up in the smoker at all.

Best place to buy
The flavor is great. Had this before buying from Amazon. The best price is here on Amazon. Excellent price for the size of the bag. Lasts a good while. Favorite brand- good quality. I haven’t been disappointed by any flavor of this brand.

Burns good but not super hot
A good mix of flavors.The shipping time is horrible, the only benefit was they dropped the price $8 after I ordered, so I saved that.It’s back up to regular price again.So that was a bonus.I’d only buy these at the sale price.They are great at that price.

It was beyond my expectations
I saw a few reviews with issues in shipping. Mine came in good condition. I used them in a Recteq 1250 to prepare two beef briskets. One was from a friend that wanted it smoked and one that I bought for my wife and I. The mesquite burned nicely with not a lot of smoke. But, the flavor went into the beef. For 9 hours of smoking, very little pellets were consumed. My friends loved the taste. My wife does not like beef said the mesquite gave good flavor and enjoyed it. I am looking forward to cooking more.

Good size bag, reminds me of my younger self.
Gives off a good scent of wood to any of your pellet cooks. Pretty good amount too. Thanks for the tasty meat, due to some good quality pellets!

Great pellets
I used these pellets to smoke a 15# brisket this past weekend. They burned really well and the flavor was out of this world. The only down side was it took about 2 weeks shipping to arriveDefinitely buying again

Mauvaise qualité de pellet
J'ai cédé au marketing du produit et il va finir à la poubelle au bout de 3 utilisations. Je suppose que les pellets sont de mauvaise qualité car le traeger fume abondamment tout au long de la cuisson. La tempererature monte péniblement à 160°. Et la combustion remonte la vis sans fin d'où la fumée incessante. Bien sûr aucune odeur de whisky ou saveur quelconque. A la poubelle
