Seems fine, but what do I know? A note on Molecular Weight:
I bought this product some months ago and came back here to re-order, when I saw the one star review from another customer. In that review, they suggest that taking this supplement is not advisable because, they say, it is of Low Molecular Weight (LMW), and suggest that there are a number of studies demonstrating the adverse effects of LMW HA (Hyaluronic Acid).I conducted a brief bit of research - reading the summaries of around 5 papers and have discovered that yes, indeed, there do seem to be adverse effects associated with LMW HA. Conversely, the hyaluronic acid found naturally in our bodies is of High Molecular Weight (HMW), which does indeed, appear to have beneficial properties when supplemented. However, the mistake made by the reviewing amazon customer is around what precisely constitutes high and low molecular weight for HA.The studies that I saw class LMW HA as in the region of 5-50-100 Kda, with HMW LA as <500Kda.That would mean that, according to those studies, this product is of High Molecular Weight. From what I read, it seems that the molecular weight can go all the way up to 000s of Kda, e.g 3000, 4000, 7000 in certain animal tissues, and it's possible that very high molecular weights might indeed be even better..But I could only find one product offering HA of 1000Kda. That was the highest weight I found. In any case, I don't think the evidence (that I have read) supports the idea that this product is of low molecular weight and therefore should be avoided.

Low molecular weight HA could cause cancer, scarring and ageing
I do a lot of research on anti-ageing, longevity, skincare etc. Through learning about skincare, I discovered that low molecular weight HA, when applied topically to the skin, induces inflammation (damage that causes ageing and disease), promotes the formation of scar tissue and promotes tumours. High weight molecular HA on the other hand, is anti-inflammatory, promotes normal collagen production (i.e not scar inducing collagen) and is tumour-suppressing. So when it comes to skincare, it makes sense to only select products that contain high weight HA. This got me wondering what the weight of the HA supplement I was taking was and if it was harmful. Unfortunately, it turns out that at 500-700kda, this supplement is LOW weight and a very high dosage indeed. Having a google, there are indeed articles and studies that show a link between low weight HA and cancer growth promotion - particularly breast, colon and pancreatic. My mother and grandmother both had breast cancer and went on to die of pancreatic cancer, so this is particularly concerning to me. Conversely, animals who are cancer resistant, like the naked mole rat, have high levels of high molecular weight HA in their bodies. Indeed, whilst HA supplements are touted as being the same as what our bodies produce naturally, the HA in our tissues is high weight. The only time low weight HA is released is as a brief response to injury to induce inflammation - which is not something you want a lot of as lots of inflammation = disease, ageing and shorter lifespan.I have been taking this supplement for around 10 months, but on the basis of this information I will now discontinue use.Note that products containing low weight HA are promoted as superior as this is the only weight that will absorb deeply into the skin (when applied as a topical skincare ingredient) or that is small enough to be absorbed by the gut when ingested. But it turns out, you don't want to be absorbing this stuff after all as it is actually harmful/damaging!
