Is this product tested on animals?

Why would it be? It is not a "pet cleaning" product. It is a "pet stain cleaning" product. The word "stain" makes all the difference here.

Does this product help eliminate pet urine odor?

Yes, if you catch it right away and be sure the product reaches all the way through the carpet, not just the surface. For pet stains that I didn't catch right away, I found repeat applications were necessary.

I have a red microfiber couch marked clean with ( W) alot of carpet reviews- will this help on couches? my h dogs have stained with licking marks

I honestly don't know about the microfiber. I have a red couch, too, but it's corduroy. The cleaner works well when I let the foam sit for a minute before brushing. I hope this helps.

Has anyone had the problem that your dog does not like the smell?

I don't like the smell. My dog threw up in my car, some got on the carpeted area so I bought this. Followed instructions, so far so good, but the smell is very strong in the small space of a car. Very industrial perfume-ish. Won't buy again.
