My laptop packed up, so I bought this to fit my old laptop SSD into. Plugged it into a sata cable inside a desk top PC and I can now chose which SSD to boot from to give me my old laptop back again albeit on a desk top pc.

great little item bought to give my m.2 extra life,upgraded my pc and old m.2 wasnt compatable.now its been converted to ssd format and works the same as when it was in m.2 format.would highly recommend, but installing be carful screws are tiny best have magnetic screwdriver makes it so much easier,and i would advise to install m.2 screw in 1st as it seems you have to make the screw make its own grip,just turn enough to feel its catching unscrew then install m.2 and thew screw in, i hope this helps make for an easy install.
