Any of yours would tell me about boot time of win10 pro 64-bit installed on the firecuda 500gb 2.5" hdd (poor, normal, fast, fastest) ?

Boot is a learning curve for firecuda. Aka meaning that it takes a few boots for the SD part to learn the booting ability. So at first boot, you won't notice much difference. But after like 3-5cycles you'll basically see the drive boot as fast as a SSD basically. Maybe 1-5seconds less fast as a pure SDD. but This boots on par with SSD's.

Is this a hybrid drive like the 1 GB version with the same name??

I believe it probably is because the 2tb version is a hybrid drive too

What is the the difference between seagate st500lxz25 and st500lx025 ?

FireCuda Gaming SSHD has built-in Caching memory of 80GB which stores recent accessed file by the PC into the cache memory for faster loading to the PC memory without reading required file from hard disk surface, which provided fastest loading and execution. My personal experience, I used Firecuda in my PC and I can tell it is now 10 times faster than other hard disks when loading, executing programs and files.

Should i opt for more cache in the 1tb or more space in the 2 tb?

Depends. Again there's too many factors but if u want to access info faster solid states drive r the best option. If u want balance the 1tb or the 2tb. at the end the diff on speed is small between the 2 cuz if u use the same data all the time it will be alocated in the SD part of the HD it's kind of a trade off but again solid state will be faster.
