Just as advertised. Seems to be high-quality. The light is great! It's very bright and points straight ahead, so you just have to be careful not to point it in anyone's face in the dark. I got this as a gift and ironed a decorative patch onto the front of the hat, and it ironed on well. The only downside is that my partner likes it too much and doesn't want to use it at work, which was its intended purpose. Alas, sounds like this hat will have a long and happy existence.

The caps I bought were used right out of the box. The lights were bright and fit well. Happy they only had an off and on push button as some can be obnoxious with flashing lights. These just turned on and off. Perfect! Also enjoy the easy access to the battery, just under the flap in the inside. We use these for farming and would recommend.

I love these hats, puts the light right where your're looking.

Works great. But it would be better if they put the lights under the bill of the hat. Instead of on the front edge.

Nice addition to my hat collection. Works great! Better illumination than I expected. A definite advantage when either traversing a dark area or finding something you may have dropped.

I waited to leave a review until after some time went by, so I could correctly judge the quality... well, I ended up no longer using this hat because it totally failed the test of time... but then I forgot to write a review! I bought this item about 6 months ago to use when taking my dogs outside to potty after dark, but I haven't used it in 2 or 3 months now. I bought this item because of the high reviews and low price. At first, I liked the idea of this item which had LEDs further out on the bill of the hat, so that excess light wouldn't shine down into my eyes (which I've had happen with a past head lamp). Also, at first, it seemed to work pretty well... although it wasn't as bright as I thought it should be, I told myself that I shouldn't expect too much due to the price. However, I noticed that within a month of buying it, the LEDs started getting progressively dimmer. I assumed it was due to batteries (which I had already replaced and batteries for this hat are pricey) but when I went and bought more batteries and put them in, I saw that the LEDs were still just as dim as before. Then, they just continued to get dimmer and dimmer, becoming essentially unusable – and by the 2nd or 3rd month, only ONE of the LEDs would light up – and of course it was very dimmed down! It has been very disappointing (especially after only having being able to use it for a few months and only having used it very sparingly at that!) I don't know if the hat I bought was defective or if it is just the normal quality... but if it had continued to work as it was supposed to, then I would most likely still be using it now and be satisfied with it – even with its initial brightness being what it was.

J'ai la version Bleu et à pile. Tout en tissus épais, renforcée au front, 6 trous d'aération. Visière de 7 cm de long avec les leds au bout, environ 16 com de large. Je fais une taille de 59/60 cm et elle me va très bien sans quasi réglage. Car largement réglable par scratch à l'arrière. Dans cette version pile, et bien, il y a la pile INCLUE. 2 interrupteurs. Trouvez le 1er sur le support Pile dans la doublure et glissez l'interrupteur. Pas la peine de sortir le support pile. L'interrupteur est du côté du câble. Le second est un bouton-poussoir cette fois, dans la visière, dessous, à droite. Poussoir ferme... clic... et les leds s'allumeront. Très pratique cette casquette.

Very good hat. Lights up well. Perfect for dog walking or grutting around in the dark. Also handy for packing tool's away in the van at night.

Ottimo cappello,il sistema di spegnimento a doppio interruttore lo protegge da eventuali accensioni accidentali,la luce dei led è sufficiente a illuminare (debolmente)il terreno intorno e gli oggetti che maneggi.Una luce più intensa potrebbe essere troppo. Lo ritengo molto utile per sistemare gli oggetti nello zaino,riporre il fucile,sitemare il capanno ecc.Naturalmente non è valido per illuminare ampie zone.
