Failed in 10 months
Ordered on June 16, 2022 -- failed on Mar 6, 2023 -- ten months. Dell Inspiron 7591 2 in 1 15 inch laptop. I just removed the failed battery; it has four "compartments" covered in pairs by a metal heat sink flat plate. Two of the compartments have "bulges", one severe enough to dislodge the heat sink. Machine would no longer boot because all of the external power adapter power was being wasted by this battery. Had the battery leaked, exploded, or caught fire, things would have been worse. I have replaced it today 10 Mar 2023 with a Dentsing 68Wh 4GVMP Laptop Battery ASIN B01BVCKXWA . I will see if this different brand performs any better.
