Shelf life- what is the shelf life of the can?

I think the inert gas contained within the can is pretty stable so it probably relies on the shelf life of the can. I usually use mine up before a year goes by. I would expect a can that was used infrequently to last much longer than that.

Can you bring it on a plane, like international routes?

From TSA: You can bring aerosols in carry-on bags if the containers are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or smaller and fit into your liquids bag. You can bring up to one quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams, and pastes in your carry-on bag. All of the 3.4 ounce containers must fit in a sealed 1-quart, clear plastic, zip-top bag. You can also bring aerosol deodorant in carry-on bags and checked luggage as long as the container is no larger than 3.4 ounces (100ml) and placed in a clear, plastic, sealable bag with other liquids. Aerosol containers in your checked luggage must be protected by a cap, and you should always pack them in plastic zip-top bags.

What is the maximum % oxygen in this gas? 5%? 1%? 10%? thanks.

It should be 0%. The only ingredients listed are argon, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen, no oxgen. Be advised that I've been using this product for years, and am very pleased with it. I usually drink only one 5-oz. glass of wine a day, and so get 5+ servings out of a standard 750 ml (25.4 fl oz). Private Preserve keeps the wine wery well, I believe. I hope this helps.
