Pros - good description, fair price, easy to use.Cons - magnets are noticeably not as strong as other brands.

I was sick of listening to my phone holder rattle so I bought these. No more rattle. One is in my car, the other is on my travel bag for use in rentals. Just be aware the your Qi wireless charger will not charge through the magnet so you will have to have the magnet either above or below where the Qi is.

I have a case for my iPhone 10 so I dropped the magnetic disk inside the back of the case without adhesive. Works great!

So, I normally don't bother to post reviews, but felt I should in this case. This is a nifty little helper that I fell in love with and now don't think I could do without. I travel a ton for work and am always in a rental car needing to navigate and talk on hands free in a strange place. Trying to prop your phone up so you can safely see it and operate it in a different car every time was cumbersome to say the least. I also did not want to buy and have to pack another full size arm mount for temporary use. The Yosh vent-mount magnet has worked great, as it is tiny and portable, yet easily mounts to any vent rib and holds phone securely. I was even able to have it hold the vent by the tip of the rubber "fingers" to allow the phone to grip the magnet and stand off from a protruding dash board and it still worked fine (it did drop once, but after re-positioning, it was fine for a several day trip). The only downside, is that it does, of course, block your vent, which, while keeping your phone cool, blocks airflow and restricts your ability to adjust the vent in use. I usually have the phone mounted on the vent closest to my face, so I have the best field of view, and so the air to my face, where I usually want it most in hot weather, is blocked. I'll live with this in a temporary set up for travel, but to have this constantly in my own car for commuting, etc. is kind of a pain. It really just becomes a trade-off that you have to decide what's more important; keeping windshield free of clutter and the phone handy and visible, or getting full air from all of your vents. So, highly recommended for travel or other short-duration use, but for a primary mount, I'd say get a windshield mounted magnet with an arm and keep your air. But to each his own!

I had a more "premium" phone holder for the air vent which cost about 2x of this product. It was the type that allows you to swivel and clips onto the vent. The issue with that one was that every couple of days I would have to adjust the clip because it would eventually come off. This however wasn't much of an issue. Then one day I traveled to another state and the clip broke apart while loosening the clip.So I purchased this and it's just as good, if not better. I still can swivel my phone fairly easily. And thus far, no adjustments needed for the clip. It has been there for a few days and I didn't have to realign the clip or anything like that. Also it comes with 2 for half the price of what my previous product costed. Definitely worth it and would recommend.

I purchased a Caseco Core 360 universal mount for about $30 and replaced it with this one which works far better. This magnet is much larger but flatter so the phone will lie flat. It's also strong enough to use inside a flexible plastic phone case so you don't have to glue anything directly to your phone. It's quite strong so it's easy to just pop on the dashboard without fiddling to get it just right. My car (Hyundai Santa Fe) doesn't have a lot of dashboard room but using this vent mount is perfect. Suggest you get into your car and hold your phone where it would be comfortable for you to see and check if there is enough room to put the base. In this case, the vent is right where I need the phone so it's perfect. The glued on knob of the Core 360 had to go much lower - very awkward. Not happy about that and I'm having trouble removing it. With the YOSH mount there is no gluing to the car; just a nice snug fit into the vent.Sometime later: still feel the same way. Bought this mount for my daughter and another one for myself when I changed phones. Great product.

I have been using another brand. Over a short period of time, the magnet would stick more to my phone then the vent. It was quite annoying. My husband bought this one for my MIL and I loved how well it stayed so I order these as replacements. It stays on well to the vent without coming off with my phone everytime I go to grab my phone off.

So convenient and made my cell visible that I bought one for each of my family members. Safety is my number one. As soon as I get into my car I put it on the holder. No searching and when I get out, grab as I get out. So easy, no brainer.

Sadly unsuitable for 2019 Honda Civic vents, also not compatible with wireless charging. A good product for suitable vehicle vents but not for me, do not stick metal plate to the back of your phone as you'll never get it off, applied it to the plastic rear cover and had to use boiling water to remove it, to be fair adhesion was fantastic. We learn from our mistakes. HOWEVER, just a day after the above review I received email from YOSH. They were sorry the item didn't suit me "not their fault" as I said. I was asked to choose another holder and they would ship it to me next day.This they did and the new holder does the job. Fantastic customer service delivered by YOSH. I have tried over a dozen phone holders over the years. Without doubt, the Yosh car holder is my favourite.I previously bought one for my smartphone. I needed a second one so that I could mount the live view remote for my Sony action camera; so decided to opt for the twin pack so that I have one spare.The vent holder is solid and sticks. Every now and then it will fall out, but it is rare and usually when it's been pulled out too much by myself.Love how easy this is to use and how affordable it is. Saves a lot of time messing about putting your phone into a gripping holder.Highly recommended.

This worked well if I was using a phone without a cover. Can recommend it.My other phone has a cover and the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold the phone if there was a bump in the road. The YOSH customer service team were excellent. They contacted me and attempted to resolve my issue as quickly as they could. They have another unit, with a stronger magnet, which does work better, although you do need to stick this on the dashboard.Great Customer Service

Fits the vents nicely on the VW Golf (mk7). Have both window suction and these but prefer my phone or tablet to be lower down in the centre console rather than impeding my view out the window so these have been perfect.

Poor product, does not stick through a case after a small journey with stop and start, the phone started to slip. Samsung S8+. Not a heavy phone. Have stuck the plate onnthe case now. An expensive case so better work else my case is ruined too. Have reviewed another product and thats really good 5* for that. Guess you get what you pay for!
