Important part first! I am 5'3", 165 lbs, 31" waist, 36C chest. I carry my weight mostly in my lower stomach and thighs. I ordered this dress in both a medium and a large because reviews were unclear about if it fit tight or loose. On my body, I would say it fits pretty loose. The large fit but had excess space around the armpits (sideboob showing) and the back was loose and floppy feeling. The medium for really well, and with the way the shape of the dress hides my lower stomach, I could've fit into a small probably, with some spanx or something. But comfortably without any spanx or shapers, the medium fits great. It's comfortable, not too tight or loose, the arm holes don't hug my arms too much (need the batwings free!).The fabric is thicker than I expected, but not hot. It's not a soft feeling material, but it doesn't rub or anything. The shape is flattering to my size and figure, and the bottom does have a nice twirl to it. I personally like the length, as it comes to my mid-calf and helps hide my calves, but I know some may have expected it to be a little shorter, so on someone my height (6'3"), it's a bit longer than you may expect. I like that the belt is not attached, so you can choose to wear it or not.If you like your dresses real tight, go a size down. Otherwise I feel like it fits pretty true to size, if not a little bit bigger than true.

I needed a dress for a wedding across the country. I ordered a different dress in the same shape from a different company and it was, while beautiful, so incredibly wrinkle prone that I didn’t feel I could travel with it. So I ordered this one and it was perfect. The fabric was thick and soft while being wrinkle free - it tumbled free from the suitcase not needing any ironing or steam whatsoever. It was incredibly flattering and gave me a great shape, which is not usual for me because I’m built like a concrete post. The dress came with a sash, but it had finished seams for a waist, so I didn’t need it. Probably could have used it as a headband instead. It had a good amount of stretch, enough to where I didn’t feel like I would split the seams when I sat down and I was able to eat. I had no issues with transparency - it was lined and nicely opaque. I’m not usually into florals, but this one was an exception because it was for a fall wedding. The colors were so pretty I forgave the flowers, lol. And because of the neckline, I was able to wear a regular bra with it. My one criticism is that there are no pockets, but the listing was clear about that and didn’t try to mislead me into thinking that there were, so I knew not to expect them.I got a ton of compliments on it. It was one of the few dressy occasions ever where I was so incredibly comfortable that I didn’t rush to change out of it as soon as I could. I’m so glad I ordered this dress! It was exactly what I wanted.

This dress is beautiful and perfect for the occasion I bought it for. The material is thin, so you will need a slip or petticoat under it, but it is beautiful material and it has a great flow.The thing to know with this dress is that it runs small. I was shocked because I ordered a 3X and in some dresses like these.I can get away with an XL, though my usual is an XXL. There is a very little stretch, so order up and order up even more if you don't want to risk it.Beautiful dress would buy again.Took off one star due to sizing.

This dress is absolutely beautiful. I have it in green also. This is the color raspberry. Perfect for the fall wedding I attended. Sizing is true to size and I felt very comfortable in this dress all night stretchy material and breathable. Great quality and price! Highly recommend!

The dress has very nice Fabric and is very nicely made. However I'm a small person except in the bust where I'm quite large. I bought a medium which fit me well except I couldn't zip it up over the bust and I bought a large which I could zip over the bust but fit me nowhere else. It's a really cute dress if it fits you a bit long

A good little black dress. The bodice fits well and the waist is high enough for the skirt to flare away from a lower tummy bulge. The length is good on me, below the knee but not a mid-calf midi. It looks great under a lady jacket or a cardi and dresses up or down. Very versatile and pretty.

I wore this to a nephew‘s wedding and got many compliments. It fit well and was very flattering. Thank you so much for a quality product.

I bought this dress for my cousin's wedding. I tried to order another dress first, but was told after a month that the item wasn't available and my order was cancelled. I do think I would have liked the other dress style better. I was looking for a purple dress to match my nails that I could wear for a wedding, but also to work. I settled on this dress. I like the color and the style is okay. When I tried to put the sash/belt on, it's so thick that when I tied it, it didn't lay right. I had to take a belt from another dress I had to put around it instead. I like the fact that it came below my knees for a more modest look and I like the A-line style of the skirt. The fit was as expected. I wouldn't buy it in other colors, but it's okay for what I am using it for.

This dress caught my eye from the ads. Finally I had to pick it up... it is nothing less than stunning. A beautiful, forgiving fit, I got compliments in it all day. It is flattering, the material falls well, all in all, a very good purchase. I am very pleased.

Habe das Kleid zunächst in L bestellt, da das Kleid in M nicht verfügbar war. Normalerweise trage ich eher M bei einer Größe von 1,65 cm. Die Bestellung war binnen 2 Werktagen bei mir und passte perfekt. Der Stoff fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an und das Kleid geht mir bis über die Knie.Habe das Kleid gleich darauf noch in Dunkelblau (ebenfalls in L) und Raspberry bestellt (in Größe M, die ebenfalls gut gepasst hat, aber etwas enger anliegt).Bin mit der Preis/Leistung voll zufrieden.Sieht sowohl mit, als auch ohne Petticoat darunter sehr elegant aus.
