Our Own Candle Company Chocolate Peppermint Sticks Scented 13 Ounce Mason Jar Candle

I have always used Gold Canyon Candles or Bath and Body Works candles. Not anymore. This candle has a yummy wonderful scent and for a single wick candle I was amazed and thrilled at the area it covers. Within 15 minutes of lighting it the scent traveled all the way to my office. I don't want to use the word "strong" to describe the scent, because it's not overpowering. It's perfect. I can't burn Gold Canyon or Bath and Body Works candles when my hubby and son are home because they make them sneeze. I had to burn them while they were at work and school. Not this candle. I burned it while they were home and had no complaints. The wick burns without any problems. The entire candle melts so there isn't that volcano in the middle with a lot of wasted candle along the sides. It's a well made, excellent scented candle. I will be ordering and using these from now on. Goodbye Gold Canyon.

Love love love candles from our Candle Company but did not care so much for this one as it smells almost medicinal in terms of the peppermint dimension of the scent . I would rate this particular scent as a 1 star, but did not want to discourage anyone about these candles due to the multitude of other wonderful scents in which they are available-- hence, the 4 star review. I have purchased MANY of the other our Candle Company scented flavors and have been really happy with them. These candles burn great, as long as you take care to trim the wick SHORT before each new burn session. They have a nice throw, even in a mid-size room. And this is a verified purchase!!

After burning halfway down won't relight. Overpriced small poor quality candle in a fancy jar.

Though purchased in September, I lit the candle for the first time in November. The aroma is great. However, The wick has completely disappeared and I still have half an unburned candle. I am extremely disappointed. Regrettably, this item cannot be returned and there is no longer an option for feedback to the seller. I would not recommend this product to others.

I've given these candles 5-star reviews, and plan to keep purchasing them.This particular scent is....different.It does burn well and the scent is definitely chocolate and mint. I just don't like this as much as some of the other scents (Vanilla, Fresh Linen, Apple Cinnamon or Lavender Chamomile).Price is right and smells are all wonderful! Prefer these to the more expensive store candles.

This chocolate peppermint candle smells amazing straight out of the jar! The problem was, once lit, no fragrance was released. The candle also produced more smoke than any candle I've had since the nineties. I was very disappointed. Not one to waste a candle, I burned it down 3/4 the way down. That's when I accidentally trimmed the wick to low. Figuring it would end up on my candle melter, I lit it one more time, expecting the flame to die. To my surprise the candle stayed lit, had no smoke and filled my room with the most delicious fragrance! I have since reordered and have not been disappointed. Excellent quality and long lasting. I definitely recommend!-also found that many candle toppers reduce the scent. The bigger the air holes, the less fragrance is lost.

This is actually one of the best scented candles I've EVER smelled!!! What I did was actually take a small spoon and scoop some out to put in my tart warmer and it smells so good!!! It's very easy to scoop out so anyone who is worried about fire hazards or anything like that just scoop a tiny bit out everyday and put it in your tart melter and it smells sooo good and put the top back on the candle to save the rest :)wanting to reorder but never in stock anymore. :( this is my most favorite one. please sell it again!!!

I once frequented a restaurant that gave out chocolate peppermints with the check, and have since always asked the server to bring me a handful so that I can eat them all day long. Unfortunately, that restaurant has burned down (by a candle, ironically - haha just kidding, it was roaches or something) and the scent of this candle reminds me exactly of those little candies. It is spot on. And definitely a strong scent too, but not strong enough to actually have to leave the cap on. I am already a fan of the candles themselves and how they burn, so finding one with a good, strong scent is what I really hope to come across. However, the scent becomes a little... Boring after a while.
