I used to buy the Amazon Basics brand which were more affordable and you get way more but they had a much higher failure rate and would let the smell penetrate easier. These bags are definitely more sturdy, have a pleasant smell, and I think I have maybe 1 bag fail for every 10 rolls. And by fail - I don't mean that they ripped when full. Sometimes they develop a longitudinal tear when the previous bag is ripped from the roll although maybe that's just user error on my part. Either way, that's a lot better than the 1 or 2 per roll that would actually fail from the Amazon Basics rolls.When I say the bags are sturdier, I mean it, these bags definitely have at least a few microns over the Amazon bags. This translates to being less likely to rip and giving off less of a smell. If you think about it, it means you are literally getting less poo on your hands when tying up a bag. I usually bag poo in my backyard and toss the bag towards my trash can in the driveway so I can throw them in the actual bin later. I used to be afraid to do that with the old bags. These new ones definitely take a beating and I have no fear whipping the bags over my fence. The only con about the thicker bags is that less fit on a roll so I find myself running out of bags sooner although if you own dogs you should always have an extra poop bag or two in your back pocket.The smell is nice, I have tried both unscented and lavender and both are great. The lavender smell helps stifle the smell if your dog goes at the beginning of your walk or on a long hike. For hikes I definitely recommend getting a Doo Doo Tube.Finally, I have to say that I love the dispenser. It is sturdy. The silicone attachment point is a great upgrade from their older design, and this was one of the first brands that had a hook integrated into the dispenser to hold filled bags. Since then I see that many other brands have incorporated this game changing feature.I would definitely recommend them, try these bags on your next reup. They are definitely a luxury but a product that makes a gross disgusting task a little more bearable is only going to help you enjoy your dog and the time you spend together on walks more. :)

I've been buying these for YEARS now. My dog and I do LONG walks (as in, 2 hours or more) so we go through many bags. I honestly did not like the Lavender scent. They kind of made me gag, for some reason, when I first tried them YEARS ago. So now I buy the bulk pack of the unscented. They come with 2 dispensers in the big box and the dispenser works well on his leash. Not trying to gross anyone out but my pup and I should do commercials for these as one evening, about 2 years ago - it was a dark evening and I live somewhere where the sidewalks just end abruptly. Lighting isn't great either. So... we were about 1/2 mile from home and cutting through some grass. It was rush hour and we were passing a busy convenience store/gas station with tons of bright headlights blinding us. I stepped into a HUGE hole in the grass that I (obviously) didn't see. I, of course, slammed right onto the pavement - the drive into the store. (Couldn't have fallen on the grass!) My pup was immediately on me - basically wrapped his leash around me trying to comfort me. It was a HARD and scary fall. Especially because we both could have been easily hit by a car. The first car stopped and then woman was amazing. At first I thought I was more embarrassed than hurt, but turned out that wasn't true. I had an incomplete wrist fracture. But the point? I actually had been holding my pup's last "bag full" and, you guessed it, landed HARD on that hand and just squished the entire bag. Not even a tear or any leak. That's why I'll never buy anything else. Again, don't mean to gross anyone out, but the fact that a large part of my body weight landed on a full bag and it didn't rip or anything - freaking amazing!

We have 3 large dogs and you can only imagine the size and density of their poops. These bags are easy to open, big enough to where there is lots of extra space between the bottom of the bag and where you hold it after cleaning up and most importantly....sturdy. This is very important if you are on a walk and not near a trash receptacle. Also very important if you have a multi-pooper and you might be carrying a couple of bags until you can dispose.Too many poop bags are super thin and not only do you sort of feel the poop while you are picking it up but also you sort of worry that the bag will tear on your way to the trash can. Not with these!

This product easily attaches to one end of the leash, or your dog's harness if you prefer. It stays attached securely and is not difficult to dispense new bags. The opening is big enough where you can manipulate the roll of bags inside the container to get it to the edge of a new bag. The silicon material is flexible where you don't have to worry about it breaking like plastic would which is also really nice.

We had the earlier version of this dispenser for several years until our new puppy chewed it. I am extremely happy with the new updated version. Still has the hook on the side to deal with the full bag so you don’t have to carry it. Love it!! The new strap that hooks on the lead changed from Velcro to silicon (?) which works better. Great sturdy product!

I used these every time my large dog goes #2 and I’m amazed and how few I’ve went through in 3 months. We have never had a breakthrough even when I have to really claw at the grass and once it’s tied you don’t smell anything. I love the little pod, that thing can take a beating! We are not gentle on it and it hasn’t broke. It’s a very hard sturdy plastic. Excellent product!

You see these bags ....stop browsing and trying to find some low ball price on amazon that will end up with poop on your hands because your a cheapskate go ahead and get this one! YES, I know this is way more bags then you need but unless you plan on selling, giving away or your pet dying you will always have them....SO BUY THEM!

I have 5 dogs, ranging from a Pomeranian to newfoundlands, so I can honestly these bags can handle the job and are extremely durable. They are big and easy to use. I can fit a lot in a bag and it holds up I prefer the unscented ones. But w great product esp for price

Theres nothing worse than a poop bag made of thin plastic, the warmth comes straight through and there is a risk of finger piercing. Trust me when I say that's not nice.These bags are great, sturdy and big enough for our bear sized left behinds. The dispenser is of course indispensable.Now some of you might not like picking up, but these bags make it easy. Remember that if your dog does its doings and you don't pick up you can be fined, you may make the excuse you didn't see it happen.... but if your not carrying poop bags you'll be sorry. Make sure you carry the best.

When I purchased these I thought "they're poo-bags, what's so special about them?". The answer to that is, everything!These are nice large bags, so large that they can hold several poos at once - very useful when you are toilet training a puppy and they leave several presents in the garden!. Strong enough that I do not worry about my fingers poking through whilst picking up a tricky poo, something which has happened in the past and was rather unpleasant!Loved the little holders and their velcro attachments, very strong. One has gone on the lead and one on my keys. Miles better than the bags and holders we had previously purchased, would definitely buy again.

Imagine this, you’re taking your dog for a walk on his lead, so you’ve got the lead in one hand and your poo gag dispenser in the other and it’s dark. The time comes to use your bags, firstly you try to find the end of the bag then when you’ve pulled it out you’ve got to find the perforated part of the bag to tear it off, then you’ve got to try to open the bag which is difficult to separate and then you’ve got to pick up the offending item and then realise there are no handles to tie off the bag, all whilst trying keep hold of your dogs lead. Good bags, very poor design.

Worked really well - easy to fill, easy to extract bags when needed and robust design. Light and unobtrusive attached to my expanding lead via the simple velcro adjustable loop. Unlike other brands this stays in one piece and you don't find yourself holding a poo-bag parade with streamers of poo bags billowing behind you. The bags are a good size and robust - very reassuring that you definitely won't get up close and personal with the poo with these. Can't say I noticed the lavender scent but they kept the other odours I don't want to smell secure until I got to the bin. Also works well with other brands of eco-plastic like Beko (whose dispenser is terrible). Great product.

Love these bags (insofar as someone can love poo bags) and I now have these on subscription. Best bags by far far when out walking the dog. My only gripe is that you cannot buy in bulk without having to get the bag holders as well. I wish the company offered a large box without including them as I now have far too many sitting around the house and they now just get added to the superfluous plastic that normal life produces, going somewhat against the ethics of the brand.So, best bags you can get, but wish they were available in bulk without the holders.
