odd-looking, but good for specific issues (possibly even yours!)
This pillow is very, very good for keeping one's head in a specific spine-neutral position. If you're looking for something to help you keep your head and neck in one position, this may be for you. I was a stomach sleeper for my whole life prior to kind of wrenching my neck one afternoon; after a visit to the doctor and a chiropractor, I was counseled to become a back sleeper. This, to put it mildly, was a challenge. I had a hard time staying put in my sleep and not contorting my neck in the process. This pillow definitely fixes that issue. It's oddly-shaped, but surprisingly comfortable. If you need to not twist your neck as you sleep, this is very helpful -- the place where you place your head securely, yet comfortably, more or less cradles your head in a fairly deep cup, and it more or less holds you there. You can obviously move around to get comfortable, but the pillow will hold your head in one spot through the night, if you choose to configure it that way. This is not to say that if you're not a back sleeper, this won't be helpful. It's thoughtfully designed to accommodate stomach and side sleepers. I just want to make it clear: there's a bit of a learning curve with this pillow, and it'll take a few days to get used to it. The first couple of mornings with it, I was a bit stiff, which is to be expected when you're completely realigning your spine into a position you're not used to after years of sleeping kind of however you want. I'm happy with the outcome, but think you should give it a few days before you decide if it's the kind of thing you want to keep. One night is not going to be representative of the overall effectiveness of the pillow. There's definitely an acclimatization period. It's important to read the directions that come with the pillow to maximize the experience. There are little divots cut into the body of the pillow with inserts there -- one is firm, and the other soft. The directions make it clear which is which. You can swap them around, or omit them entirely.Shipping was quick and the packaging was fine. There was a bit of an odor immediately upon opening, but that's to be expected with any foam product. 24 hours later, I didn't notice it any more. Also, the pillow protector is an unusual fabric...it sort of reminded me of a softer sort of material one might see used in athletic shoes...but it's comfortable, and it diffuses heat well. I didn't notice the pillow feeling too warm. For me, this was a good purchase. I feel better-aligned in the mornings, and haven't awoken with a crick in the neck area even once since using it. It's odd looking, but effective, and am pleased with the results.

Five days in, and I am sleeping great!
I suffer from chronic migraines, and half of them tend to stem from the base of my neck. I ordered this pillow not expecting any miracles. This is the first time I have ever purchased a pillow like this. I have had memory foam pillows made with the neck hump but not anything like this. I typically gravitate towards pure down pillows where I can put my arm under and adjust and fluff as I sleep. Although I love the feel of a high end down pillow, as my migraines have gotten worse I noticed I just kept waking up all night to adjust the fluff. In comes my new cervical memory foam pillow. It’s a little strange getting used to not moving it around or not being able to put your arm underneath if you are a side sleeper. What I noticed is, it kind of forces you to sleep on your back….at least for me, it feels more comfortable with this pillow. I use the softer block, and even though it is firm compared to what I am used to I have actually slept through the night since I received this pillow. I have not woke up with a migraine which could be a coincidence…l don’t know. I will update after a month. So far, I will say I like it, but I will see after I give it some time.

It's not you it's me
This isn't a bad pillow, but it's not for me. I have problems with my neck and I am petite. This pillow is just too large and sits too high off the bed for my neck to sit comfortably. It is a nice quality memory foam type pillow and I'm certain it's great for many people, but it's not great for me.

New Anvo Cervical Pillow has more versatility and wonderful neck support!
I had already purchased the original Anvo Memory Foam Pillow and really liked it. Was suffering from debilitating neck pain (trigeminal nerve issues) and this pillow was a lifesaver. Then I purchased their new "butterfly" design pillow and love this one even MORE! This one is more versatile because I can sleep on my side easier and better with this new version (my preference). I just flip it with the little wings in the back when I want to roll over on my side and then if I'm on my back I just flip it back. Great neck support ... I never want to stop using these pillow and have my neck issues return. Zippable covers are washable too and very soft and comfortable. When I make my bed in the morning I just put my regular pillows in my pillow shams over my Anvo pillows (they match my bed quilt). Works great!

Seems promising!
First impression: the pillow is soft, comfortable, and keeps my head in a good spot so my spin is aligned in a straight line. I've only had it for one night, but my neck already feels less stiff when waking up this morning. I tried sleeping on my back, side, and stomach and this pillow supported my head nicely for each sleeping position. Four stars since I still need more time to test it out. I will continue to try out this product, but so far this pillow seems promising!

Works well for side sleeper with sleep apnea
I'm a side sleeper with sleep apnea (I do not use any kind of cpap treatment). My neck and shoulders constantly hurt and my neck has muscle knots. I had some doubts when I ordered this pillow. Surprisingly, my body adjusted to it after just one night of sleep. It hasn't cured my apnea or left me feeling refreshed or any of the typical over the top nonsense you see in positive reviews. However, it has helped and my pain has been reduced. This pillow has helped my sleep improve.
