Found this through an online review. This is the best Christmas Panetonne, no other brand even comes close. This is for your closest family, your best friends, yourself. I’m old, but I know
I am an octogenarian, and I come from an old Genovese family, so I have consumed much panetone throughout. my life in Liguria, and Milano.in recent time I brought a very large one to my family for Christmas. I refuse to make comparisons in taste, because there is truly no accounting for taste. I understand why this costly item is popular in the reviews, as I have a toasted slice with my caffe latte. Toasted, because felt it was too moist and spongy. I mysef prefer a drier baking (NOT DRY.) I s hall not purchase it again, nor recommend personally to any friend. I well recall from decades ago much more pleasing imported panetone purchased in NYC, and more pleasing purchased in Milano in more recent years. Everything changes, so I shallreturn to Zena and Milan to reacquaint myself with flavors old and new.. Because, this panetone did not take me there. Nonetheless, being a frugal Zeneise (yes a redundancy to some), I shall not toss this one.

I'm a big fan of panettone, I don't know how many different kinds I have bought over the years, but the Tre Marie is the freshest, most flavorful panettone I have ever had. An absolute triumph, outstanding by any measure. I'm a big fan of panettone, I've bought innumerable brands over the years, but this one is stellar.
