I tried everything to get rid of a swarm of fruitflies, vinegar traps, wine, raid etc. I don't know how this thing works, all I know is The morning after I hung it up I came downstairs to a fruit fly genocide. This thing slaughtered them wholesale. If Fruitflies ever, somehow, become the dominant species on Earth, i expect to be tried and convicted for war crimes. If you have a fruit fly problem, buy this, fire and forget.

It works
I was ill for a while and I let my kitchen get out of hand. Fruit flys everywhere it was driving me crazy, I put drain cleaner down the drain, put out vinegar with bananas,sticky strip, nothing seemed to help, I ordered BarPro Strip hung it up, the next day just a few straglers then the 3rd day not a one flying fruit fly was to be seen. Highly recommend it worked for me. I do reviews if I believe in the product.

I was pretty skeptical about this and didn't think it was working after seeing numerous fruit flies after a whole day and night with this product, but by day 2 all the fruit flies were gone, wish I had found this product sooner!

BUY this. Saved me in my studio apartment.
This worked for me. THANK. GOD. I had been battling an unreasonable infestation of fruit flies last month in my small, studio apartment which is 600 sq ft. This saved me. Prior to ordering this, I did everything in my power to stop the infestation with no success. I did everything: the DIY traps (white vinegar + splash of wine + water + dish soap in a cup.. and I killed over 40 flies in this single cup over the course of 2 days), taking out all the trash bags, never leaving a single dirty plate in the kitchen sink, ran garbage disposal cleaners multiple times in a week, put sink drain covers on to prevent any possible breeding grounds, cleaned the refrigerator from top to bottom.. sigh, you name it, and I did it. I did everything in my power to curb the infestation, and I still failed.. even after killing 100+ flies (not an exaggeration if you've dealt with fruit flies) over the course of a week. There was no legitimate reason as to why they kept coming back even 1-2 weeks later.So, I ordered this. It works.Although it specifically states on the back of product to NOT USE this in an area where feeding or food prepping is done, I didn't care. I had to stop the infestation. I hung it up on the wall in my small kitchen close to the ceiling, and within 2 days, the fruit flies vanished. However, to note, this probably best worked because 1) my kitchen is small and compartmentalized and 2) it was not exposed to a draft or a fan. In short, this allows the bug-killing, toxic (95%-ish odorless) vapors to permeate my kitchen, hang about in the air, and eliminate them. That sounds a bit alarming, but I've had no negative side effects as I work from home, and I'm around this regularly.In short, buy this. I can actually eat in my apartment now without feeling like I have to constantly watch my dinner to swat away a disgusting fruit fly. Sick.

Works, will vouch for that for a hospital area.
I am a Director for the housekeeping for a hospital in Delaware, I have placed this product in all areas with fruit fly issues. I wish I have found this sooner in my career this has solved the problem and continues to work. We have tried this in our dishroom and within 2 days of hanging the trap we have found no activity in the area which is remarkable. We now use this in areas where trash is placed and we no longer have activity. It is high in price, but to cover a large area like ours we have utilized it in our hallways to kill of the pests before spreading. It is week 3 since we have placed the traps out and we no longer have issues on any of our units. Oustanding product, I will use this at all my furture sites I work with our cleaning company.

Goodbye tiny jerks! I had just about the worst fruit fly infestation one could think of. I felt like I couldn't even cook or be in my own apartment. We live in tight NYC quarters so bugs can literally come from the walls! Fruit Fly BarPro gave me back my peaceful mornings with no more flies in my coffee. I tried every natural method in the book and had doubts that this would work, but sometimes you have to pull out the big guns when the going gets buggy. Three days with one bar out per room and some time spent at my boyfriends and poof! They were all dead when I returned. Keep out of reach of kids/pets and you will be fine. Fine print says no spending time around it, so distance yourself if you can. Overall, no issues with this product other than a little pricey for more than 1, but would highly recommend to anyone who has HAD IT with fruit flies.

Run a Restaurant, we have a Fruit Fly problem. These are the only thing that works.Only drawback, they are great in small areas, but in well ventilated areas not so much. However, that is stated in the description of the product.Little on the expensive, but worth it. Like I said nothing works better.
