I agree with some reviews that the price for this little bottle is very high and I wish it was less liquidy, as I have to be careful not to pour the entire bottle out. I use a nickel size amount for my thin high porous naturally curly hair. I pair it with a small nickel size amount of Devacurl Ultra defining gel, on wet, just out of the shower, hair. It's the only product that I find pairs well with the gel. I love the volume and my healthy looking hair!

I’ve been using Devacurl products for three or four years but I’ve never tried this one. I do not have naturally curly hair, in fact, I have bone straight hair. I lost a lot of hair when I had severe anemia and so I got a old-school perm 5 yrs ago (and every 8-9 months now) and this line has kept it healthy- I even have my hair bleached with foils every 3-4 months or so! I ran out of a lot of the gels that I was using from the Devacurl line and thought I would try this one. I definitely have to use a leave in product after washing my hair which is the Redken anti-snap and then I follow with Set it Free spray by Devacurl and then I use this. I notice I am having better hair days.

My hair has been hard to manage and this product has helped with my curls looking softer and maintaining a curl. The problem I had was either using too much or too little so it took me a few tries to know the amount that is right for my hair. For me a little goes a long way.I love the smell of this too and what I really like is that this is a leave in product, which makes it much easier for me.

I’ve been using it for years and it works great. I paid $28 for the 16 oz bottle in Nov 2021. In 2022 I bought it twice and it was $42 each time. Now they want $50 for it? I think that’s the end of the line for me.

Different ingredients then before but still works amazingly, makes my curls more defined.

This product seems thin but it is okay. It replaced the DevaCurl 'Believe In which I think was far superior.

I find it has too much hold when using with other products. If you’re looking for lots of definition you may like this! I like a softer look. Definitely helps hold curls from when they are wet.
